My first time buying this kit for Scotch Pies and as a Englishman married to a Scot I have earned so many brownie points with my wife for the end result and how well they turned out I am Teflon coated for years.I bought & minced boneless mutton and only added a tiny bit of ground pepper to the mix and after baking they were better looking and tastier than anything you can buy in a bakers in Edinburgh. So tasty and the pre made pastry will not let you down. Buying another box as I want to try to make " Blagish " pies (Haggis/Black Pudding mixed).

Absolutely fantastic product as always. Packaged superbly. No chips, cracks or any demolitions 🤣. Super fast delivery too. Can make when is convenient for yourself. Product also freezes well. I've even bought packs for relatives whom no longer live in Scotland like myself. A spot on taste of home. Highly recommend.

Simple to follow instructions made these a pleasure to make. I’m a big fan of the scotch pie and often struggle to get them south of the border, these fitted the bill perfectly. The pastry cooks up nice and crisp, as it should, giving a nice crunchy bite. If I was to give one little piece of criticism, and please bear in mind that this is a very minor issue, it’s that the seasoning is too salty, cut down on the salt a bit and they’d be bang-on!

exactly what i ordered authentic scotch pies cooking instructions abit out pies were slightly burned cooked 6 froze 6 so ill know next time used lamb as mutton hard to get but apart from slight over cooking pies were delicious even my fitness fanatic daughter ate 1

Great idea, easy to make, taste good, but let down by poor shipping/packaging. 4 out the 12 shells were broken. Also 1 lid showed a spot of mould, so threw it away. Given that they arrived on 3-Oct after ordering on 24-Sept, maybe they've been lying around in a sorting office. More secure packaging for the shells would be welcome!

I’m a great lover of Scotch Pies and was very sceptical about buying these, but I have to say I wish I had bought them sooner! Yes, you have to add the mince but preparation time is minimal.I probably overcooked my first batch so the pastry was a bit firm, but the second batch with Lambs Mince were spot on. 😋😃
