Really good, should have bought one ages ago.I commute a 40 mile round trip 2 to 3 times a week. This I great.Persevere with fitting it though, on my 1 st attempt I didn't have the correct orientation of the body of it in my handle bars so the mirror wouldn't quite twist to the required angle.So I altered it for me next commute, worked perfectly

Bought this mirror for my road bike to be able to see the cars overtaking. The mirror is very compact, good design. It does the job very well, very pleased. I think every cyclist should consider it especially if you riding on the main roads with lots of traffic around you.

In 2022 I had a nasty crash, broke my elbow in 2 places, bruised black and blue down my one side, all because I was leaning back over my shoulder before moving over to take a right hand turn and hit a pot hole….since then I’ve used bar end mirrors to stop having to look backwards. This is a great mirror, easy to fit and adjustable when fitted. Used for my commuter bike and weekend bikes. Helps me be more aware of traffic and more confident.

Seemed ok. Not very solid build though. I accidently dropped my bike on the mirrors first use. The mirror broke off and couldn't be selvaged.
Meglio di Cateye
Questo è un ottimo specchietto. Il vetro convesso insieme alla forma e alle dimensioni mi danno una visuale più chiara e ampia rispetto al precedente Cateye BM45. Questo è stato rubato insieme alla bici precedente, ma con la mia nuova bici mi mancavano la sicurezza e la praticità di questo tipo di specchietto. Sono contento di aver scelto questo specchietto. L'immagine è stabile, chiara e, come detto prima, offre una visuale più ampia e migliore rispetto al precedente Cateye. Altamente consigliato.
Great mirror but the blue is too dark for me.
I commute to work in New York City via bike so I needed two rear view mirrors (one for each side) because obstacles are coming at you from every direction in NY. Since I have a bike with drop bars and other things mounted to the tops of my handlebars, this product fit the bill nicely. Note that this item comes with one mirror in a pack so if you want two mirrors, you need to buy two of them.I ordered both the anti-glare blue mirror and the standard automotive glass option. What jumped out at me is that the blue is quite a bit darker than the clear mirror. This was backed up by a few comments I saw on Reddit and elsewhere. I'm sure I could have gotten used to it and it wouldn't have been a problem, but my take is that I already wear glasses while I ride (Tifosi photochromic lenses) so those will do most of the heavy lifting reducing glare in just about every light condition, and will also make it so that any tint to the mirror itself is too much. So, I returned the anti-glare blue and kept the standard clear mirror.Installation was really easy (maybe 2 minutes for each mirror if you're really taking your time) and the mirror is snug in the handlebars for my GT Grade Comp gravel bike.Perhaps I wish the image in the rear-view could be a bit bigger but a) that kind of comes with the territory of drop-bar mounted mirrors... they're far away from your eyes, and b) if the mirror was not convex I'd trade magnification for reduced field of view which I don't think I'd be any happier with. All in all I'm satisfied with the clarity and utility of the mirror.NOTE: as other reviewers have mentioned, having rear view mirrors on your bike should NOT excuse you from practicing proper situational awareness. Especially in NYC where your head needs to be on a swivel 100% of the time between your door and your destination. These mirrors are most helpful for spotting those zippy e-scooter guys who are trying to pass me in narrow spaces. I can also check for cars that are tailgating me. But if I'm about to change lanes or make a turn, I still physically turn my head to check my blind spot, exactly as one should do when driving a car.
"My eyes are up here" - The road in front of you when you used to have to look over your shoulder
Install is simple with a 5mm hex into the bar end and then a 4mm for the mirror adjust. The mirror ball takes very little pressure to stay put, DO NOT TIGHTEN IT VERY MUCH. My first one broke because I was tightening.The mirror stays in position even on rocky/bumpy gravel rides with minimal bolt pressure.
