If you want to make any kind of caviar that pops, it’s awesome.I’m pretty sure it’s in the description but it’s not for agar. Fun and easy to use
I purchased this on a whim, thinking this tool would be more economical than buying tins of preprepared pearls. So glad I did! The tool is easy to use and clean, and my dinner guests thought I was some sort of magician (who am I to correct them!). I had some tomato jam that did not set, but I couldn’t toss it because it was so delicious. I ran it through this machine and it turned my failed jam into the perfect condiment to pizza, appetizers and pasta dishes. Can’t wait to make more!
It makes balls
It works as advertised and does a nice job. The only gripe I have is that it comes with a European plug which it doesn’t state. So make sure you get an adapter if you’re in the states.
I wish the pearls were bigger
Good. I wish the pearls came bigger. Are there different sizes for the needles?
Never got it to work
Followed specifications to the letter 3 diff times and could not get spheres
