5.0 out of 5 stars Good looking, well built and easy to use.

Does everything I want very well - slicing, grating, grinding, mixing and kneading - with minimum fuss. Even though the motor is lower in power than many of its competitors, it works effectively and efficiently at everything I have done so far and is super quiet (compared to my old Breville processor - which lasted some years but got damaged and had to be replaced). Main bowl is a good size. Haven't used the small bowl yet. Is stable on the wooden oak worktop and not too large for a small household. Would recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Product. One of the best buys ever.
Outstanding product, one of the best buys ever. Does the job perfectly, easy to clean and store as very compact. But it is the quality of this product that most appreciated. I use it every few days.
4.0 out of 5 stars A great multiplayer
It does jobs that it is advertised to do. However, in some jobs, it may not work like a magic. Let me list what I've tried for a month after the purchase.-Mincing meat: superb. I didn't even bother to chill the meat and it worked great. I minced meats for making ragu and dumplings. Unless you have a special reason to go for an expensive meat grinder, I think it is almost perfect.-Chopping: superb. do about 8-10 pulses.. onions are already ready for ragu.-shredding with disc: great! I have shreded potato and cheese. Both worked so quickly and nicely.- kneading dough: Not magical but it helps. I think it works beautifully with quite wet dough (>50% water (in weight respect to the weight of flour)). but when you knead a dry dough, for example, noodles dough (40-45% water), it may not work like a magic. Capacity also matters here. I have tried 500g of flour with 5 eggs to make pasta dough, the top 1-inch layer of the flour was not mixed into the dough. For a wet dough, 500g was okay. But here, the reason may be that I am not using it correctly. I am still learning. But I do admit that I have my doubts if it's worth kneading with this machine because I am not sure it reduces work if I include the washing up afterward. Speaking of which, washing up the bowl and the blade is quite tedious after the kneading because of the stuck flour bits. (with chopped onions and such it is not too bad.) If you have a dishwasher, this may be not a problem.- slicing: I never tried yet but no reason to believe it won't work well. I personally love slicing things with my knife, so I will not be taken my job away to this machine.- Pureeing; Not yet tried. I hope it works well.**A piece of warning: Never use the abrasive green side of the sponge when you clean the bowls. It leaves scratches on the plastic surface. Sadly, mine is now cloudy with those scratches. Just use the softer yellow side or white (less abrasive) sponge. Also, a review I read here that says water leaks when he/she put some water and spun it for washing is not true. I have tried the same, and I have not noticed any leaking. On the other hand, the dry flour will leak at the top lid when the water is not yet added as one of the reviews said here. So it won't be a good idea to mix just dry powders in the bowl. But I don't know why people do that before adding water anyway. I think it will be mixed well in the dough.Overall, I am happy with the product. It enables some jobs that are almost impossible without such as mincing meat or helps speeding up a big batch works like chopping lots of onions for ragu, shredding potatoes for hash brown, and cheese shredding for lasagne or mac n cheese. It is my first food processor, therefore, I cannot compare it to other models. I hope my review answers some of the questions in your mind.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great little processor/chopper
Excellent mini processor, ideal for blending/chopping pesto and ragu. We previously had the equivalent KitchenAid variant and whilst excellent in operation the lugs on the main body where the bowl attaches snapped making it difficult to operate. I didn't expect this one would be as good but it is with the added benefit of having a more secure fitting bowl. We've used this frequently over the weeks since purchased and it's been a pleasure to use, effective and easy to clean. If, like us, you're not particularly worried about the colour of the unit they are incredibly well priced...approx. £30 at time of purchase, very satisfactory purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars Does its job, easy to use, good quality
Bought primarily to slice a large amount of vegetables. It does its job well. As a safety feature, the processor won't run unless the container is securely attached. The plastic feels strong. I was satisfied with the cost. The processor comes with discs and blending blades. I've found the discs to be most useful. Note that the slicing blade on the discs is very sharp and it's very easy to accidentally touch it when instinctively reaching out for it. Be careful while cleaning the discs. I passed a sponge over it and the blade easily sliced a bit of the sponge off.The processor is easy to use. It has two speeds with one button for each, which can be pulsed if needed. The machine is not excessively heavy but it isn't light. It's probably safer that it's heavy as it has fast rotating components. It isn't too loud and, while it does vibrate, it doesn't feel like it's shaking off balance. It doesn't take much effort to clean. The discs can be easily removed, rinsed and brushed clean. The lid and container can also be easily removed for rinsing and cleaning.
1.0 out of 5 stars Very poor quality
This is the second Mini Prep Pro I ordered. The first one arrived and neither the chop or the grind functions/buttons worked. This was really annoying as I had a particular recipe to prepare that required the use of the Mini Prep Pro.I returned the first Mini Prep Pro and ordered another one.I have used this one once and it worked perfectly. I have tried to use it for a second time and neither the chop or the grind functions work….Not satisfactory at all.I have made sure everything is locked and plugged in to no avail.Very unhappy.
FICHE MALE INADAPTEE

Cleaning up is more hassle than the machine solves
I bought this to dice, to variably slice and to make kitchen work easier. I used to have. Breville Sous Chef, and it’s great , but costs x 2. I thought this would do a similar job.It dices well, but only has one size and does waste some. The variable slicer is nice, but cheaper models with two discs do 90% of your jobs anyway. The main headache is , after breezing through some food prep, you need clean a whole bunch of things. The lid, three pushers, the bowl, maybe the inner bowl, the spindle and a couple of blades. It might be fine for large meal prep, but is too much hassle for day to day use.The machine has a good motor and the slicing disc is a dream. The dicing grater is okay, but not very versatile, in my use. The chopping and other plastic blade are just like my 50$ food processor.I think I will stick with my basic processor for now, less stuff to wash up each time….It’s not a good as the Breville, but it costs half the price. I would either use a basic FP or spring for the Breville, the clean up was easier and the power was incredible. Minimal waste.
