I had this mandibular anti snoring device just a few months, it gradually got dirtier as time went by, neither retainer brite or steredent made any impact. I saw dentasheen on Bolo and checked out the claims on grok which said that dentasheen was more suited to removing these calcified stains. Following other reviews advice I soaked it each day for the last two and a half months, vigorously brushing it each night before use with a dentures tooth brush. The results speak for themselves. I will stick from now on with dentasheen, it is a terrific product that has saved me from having to plan for a lab clean by the dentist who provided the device. I highly recommend it. For the type of stains mine had make sure to soak it all day and vigorously brushing it before use each night, the progress will be slow but sure and you will see the difference after a few weeks.

What a fab product. Three years of trying to scrub my night guard with a toothbrush and using a sonic cleaner. I wish my dentist told me about this - so much cleaner and no effort required. I bought a box for my son's retainers too.

I've tried other brands of retainer/denture cleaner before and usually go back to the more expensive brand. The others have either not cleaned as well or left a chalky residue. Some leave a strong taste on the retainer, even after vigarous rinsing. I've been using this brand for over two weeks and the only difference between this brand and the expensive brand is the cost. No chalky residue, no nasty taste. I don't think I'd go back to the other brand now.
