Really great fan

This fan is great! I only just recieved it today and immediately plugged it in to try. Since it's such a pricey item, especially for a fan given the current economy, I've tried to add as much as I can to this review.The highest setting is incredibly powerful, with the lowest seting providing a soft breeze and the highest being like a wind tunnel! Much better than my tower fan, and very quiet. At the highest setting, you're obviously going to get some noise, but nothing like my tower fan.It has two rotating features, left and right and up and down. You can have one or the other on, or both, which makes the fan move around and blow air all over. The manual even shows diagrams of optimal placement for various needs and comes with a warranty. If you use the rotate features, best to place it on a flat surface, since you risk it toppling if it's on something say grass, sheets etc.The best feauture, for me, is the breeze feature. It's a button which, when pressed, provides a very soft breeze, which changes in intensity (so very soft to around level 1 on the fan) for a few moments. It's really nice when working on a pc to have a constant subtle breeze that is occasionally a little stronger. The fan itself is average weight to a little weighty, depending on your physical capabilities. Since it's a spherical fan, it has a little carry handle in the back, but depending on your physical capabilities, switching it off and picking it up from beneath the sphere (around its 'neck') works fine too. It's got a decent amount of cord, and it's small enough to fit on a desk, so ideal to take into work if you need to or have it on the coffee table, etc. The design is also very sleek and unobtrusive.It comes with a remote that you could probably put on a key chain or string to keep safe, as it's got a little hole in the side, which I think it quite a considerate feature if you lose remotes a lot! The remote must be pointed directly at the fan to work, so simply pressing it in another room, for example, will not work. If you lose the remote though, it has all features on the base of the fan, which is very sturdy.All in all, an absolutely brilliant purchase and I'm really delighted with it.

Bought this fan 5 years ago. I was looking through my order history and came across it, so decided to leave a review, as I think I've used it enough to give an honest opinion!This fan is of a good quality and design. Not in your face nor run of the mill, it's quite attractive! It takes up very little space and has excellent coverage thanks to its oscillating head. The airflow might not be as concentrated and lengthy as a tower fan when it turns, but for its size it does a very satisfactory job. This little fan is light weight with a clean and contemporary style, and is well liked in my household (which has 2).The remote control is a bonus when you're in bed and want to adjust the speed or switch it off. The remote has to be pointing fully at the sensor on the front of the fan to respond though. The lowest setting is quiet enough for me to fall asleep with - which is amazing! There's also a breeze-like setting which constantly adjusts the speed at which the fan blows at, just like how an actual breeze would act.The only downside to this amazing compact fan is the front cover is so intricate in design that it makes cleaning the dust off it a fiddly job.All in all, I like this fan and every Summer it comes of storage and does its job well.

I presume it's going to be great. I bought for my son to replace the one he left here when he moved and my partner loves this fan immensely. Quiet and great control. Great product.

Look, this fan will not knock you over with its power. It is a nice, compact fan that will sit on the desk next to you and give you a light breeze, even on the low setting. And the low settings are EXTREMELY quiet. (I've seen some people saying it has a "hum" on the quietest setting. Well, yes. It's an electric fan with a moving motor. You can only make it so quiet. Do you live in a monastery?) Even the high setting is quiet enough to let you watch television without having to boost the volume.The highest power mode will give you a fairly narrow blast of air from a distance of a couple of meters, but no, you will not get much of breeze from across the entire living room. If you're looking for something to sit in the corner and reach every inch of the room, this isn't your product. If you're looking for something to sit close to the sofa, or on top of your desk, this is perfect.The circular oscillation is a nice touch and gives it a great range of coverage, although I wish it didn't point quite so directly upward when it is going up and down. Not many people are going to be standing directly over their fan. And it can be a bit fiddly to get it to point at the hight you want when choosing to do only a back-and-forth oscillation. But this is a pretty minor complaint.I find the "breeze" function much better than most other fans that have this feature. I've always found it annoying on other fans because you can hear the motor speeding up and slowing down. This fan is so quiet that (unless your room is exceptionally quiet) you can barely hear it, so the breeze effect works and is quite pleasant. However, it is only available on one low-power mode, so you cannot get a breeze effect and high power at the same time.All in all, a great little fan. It was indispensable in the office this summer.

Reklamation da falscher Strostecker

Der Tischventilator ist heute pünktlich angekommen. Beim Auspacken stellte ich fest, dass dieser mit einem Englisch. Oder amerikanischen Stromstecker geliefert wurde. Den kann ich leider nicht verwenden, da wir nur sog. Schukostecker haben. Das Produkt werde ich zurück senden.
