Unfortunately allows water ingres, poor quality zips after a months usage both panniers had failed so ended up using vacuum storage bags inside the "waterproof " panniers found that vacuum storage bags bought separately I hasten to add, very effective against water ingres to my luggage & a lot cheaper than the pannier set .Yellow Showerproof protective cover faired better by about a month but also lost its integrity after being used on showery days combined with Strong sunlight Mixed with the wet stuff that falls from the sky !Definitely not for the cycling commute but possibly for the early evening (no strong sunlight & preferably no wet stuff ! perhaps a picnic once a millennium stargazing ! Then perhaps worth the price tag !Otherwise a waste of money !

Got this for my brother-in-law. He was looking for a different product, but I was visiting and this is the best I could find that could arrive at time. I think he was fairly satisfied.

The media could not be loaded. Very happy with this purchase.Very well made, good/strong materials and waterproof. Fits perfectly and securely to my bike.If you don't carry a lot then a smaller one is advised.

I think the final weight including water and picnic stuff was about 25 kilogrammes. In reality I did not use half the stuff I took so on my next cycle across Europe I will be stricter and carry much less. Waterproof yes but there was some leaks through the zips. Cheap pannier dayglow waterproof covers are advisable.

The zippers are flimsy, and the material wears out way too quickly. For the price, it's just not worth it. Save yourself the headache and consider other options.

Praktische Radtasche mit abnehmbaren Rucksack
Dieses Fahrradtaschen-Set war mein Begleiter auf einer 7-tägigen Radtour. Verstaut habe ich dort meine Klamotten und allerlei Camping-Zubehör. Die Radtaschen boten dafür ausreichend Platz.Das Material wirkt sehr robust und wasserfest. Der Stoff erinnert vom Geruch an aufblasbare Wassermatratzen. Nach wenigen Tagen hat er aber im Gegensatz zu den ersten Tagen deutlich nachgelassen. Das Material ist sehr wasserresistent - bei Starkregen wird jedoch das beiliegende Regen-Cape benötigt, was die Taschen samt Rucksack komplett umschließt und regendicht macht.Die Radtaschen können wahlweise einzeln, doppelt oder auch mit Rucksack montiert werden. Leider sitzen die Taschen selber mit wenig Beladung etwas locker, auch wenn durch den zusätzlichen Clip-Gurt (siehe Fotos) noch am Gepäckträger befestigt werden können. Sobald aber die Taschen etwas beladen sind, sitzen sie fest.Die Reißverschlüsse lassen sich etwas schwergängig verwenden, was aber daran liegt, dass diese zusätzlich regensicher sind - wohl nicht zu verhindern. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass der Rucksack sowohl auf dem Rücken, aber auch auf den Taschen verstaut werden kann - die Gurte werden dann in einer Klett-Tasche verstaut.Zusätzlich bieten die beiden Taschen hinten Reflektoren, um von anderen gesehen zu werden. An der Seite sind noch Schnürgurte befestift, um zusätzliches Gepäck außerhalb der Tassche zu befestigen. Der Rucksack bietet ein großes und mehrere kleine Fächer, für eine optimale Aufteilung.Insgesamt war und bin ich mit diesem Radtaschen-Set sehr zufrieden und kann es bis auf die kleinen genannten Punkte jedem Radfahrer weiterempfehlen, der auf größere Touren geht! Vergessen sollte man jedoch natürlich nicht, dass die Radtaschen kleiner im Vergleich zu anderen Taschen mit deutlich mehr Volumen sind. Ausgleich schafft hier dann der Rucksack.

Die Taschen wurden innerhalb 24 Stunden nach Bestellung geliefert, obwohl ich "am Ende der Welt" wohne.Da ich -wie viele Singles- nichts mit Literangaben anfangen kann, hier die Cirka-Maße ohne Gewähr:Seitentaschen abgeschrägt: Breite 30cm / abgeschrägt unten 18cm. Höhe 34cm. Tiefe 15cmAuf den Seitentaschen weitere Tasche Breite 18cm, Höhe 20cm. Tiefe 5cm. Dort auch je 1 Gepäcknetz.Rucksack: Breite 30 x Höhe 42 x Tiefe 14 cm.Seitlich 1 zusätzliche Tasche 25 x 8 x 2cmVorne (oben) 1 zusätzliche Tasche 19 x 22 x 3cm zB. für den Regenschutz und 1 Gepäcknetz.Hinten gibt es ein zusätzliches Fach über die ganze Rucksackgröße mit Klettverschluss, zB. für flache Wäsche etc.Seitentaschen:Die Metallklammern haben einen Gummiüberzug. Es scheuert nichts am Gepäckträger. Allerdings kann es sein, dass bei einigen E-Bikes mit Batterie unter dem Gepäckträger die Klammern nicht passen. Unten befindet sich ein längeres Klettband zur Befestigung. Sollte bei den meisten Fahrrädern passen. Die oben seitlich angebrachten Tragegriffe erleichtern das Tragen beider Taschen. Außerdem ist ein Tragegurt beigelegt. Solche Gurte gibt es bei Bedarf auch im Handel.Rucksack:Der Rucksack wird mit 6 Befestigungen an den Seitentaschen eingeklickt.Mit 2 separaten Reißverschlüssen kann er oben und unten geöffnet werden.Die Tragegurte sind 3,7cm breit und damit recht bequem zu tragen.Die Reißverschlüsse haben eine spezielle Regenabdeckung und sind etwas schwerer als normale Reißverschlüsse zu öffnen, aber ok. Es hakelt nichts. Sie sind sehr ordentlich eingenäht. Auch alle anderen Nähte scheinen sehr ordentlich zu sein. Für 1 Woche Fahrradtour sollte der Stauraum reichen. Mit zusätzlicher Campingausrüstung aber nicht zu empfehlen.
