Genuinely very impressed it’s very quiet sounds exactly like my filter no louder! Ordered one before this one and it was very loud, very quiet and very good for my tank and definitely recommend this product

What a massive difference this has made to my living environment. No more pump noise, and all I can hear are the bubbles popping. The perfect upgrade if you have a noisy pump in your living space, and excellent value for money to boot.

Really quiet, easy to set up and plenty of power for a small tank. Unfortunately the power cable is very short and makes it difficult to set up as recommended, hanging from side of tank.

It's a great, tiny pump. It really doesn't make a sound (so long as you don't put it next to something that it can vibrate on). I've been using this to run a small aeration line for a month now, I didn't want it too strong, so this one's perfect. Don't buy it if you want to run something heavier.The plug gets warm to the touch, it's not hot, but I do check it periodically.The suction Cup they supply is absolute rubbish and is not worth being there!The little holder is absolute genius, so it you want to hang it inconspicuously on the aquaria edge, it's perfect for that. However, I found with it hung up on the edge, above the water level, I got the smell of steam, which the manufacturer ( thank you for this advice in your instructions) says it is the pump working too hard. So I added a one way valve, and have it halfway up the back of the tank, using my own suction cup!All perfect now!

The media could not be loaded. I needed something compact for use in a 15l nano which I Have a few neocaridina in.The airstone provided makes a nice steady even stream of bubbles which the shrimp seem to love. It does make a small noise, but if you have TV on or are used to pumps & other aquarium bits buzzing away you won't even notice this.

Using it on a 30 litre biorb cube & it's working great. The fish are happy & healthy, as are the shrimp, so the water is getting oxygenated fine & the filter cartridge still has the same amount of dirt in it each week. If it starts to sound a little rattely, then I just push the air stone back down firmly. The air syone gets replaced every fewmonths anyway once it starts blocking up from my very hard water. The pump itself is so so quiet. It doesn't buzz at all which was amassive relief after the rediculously loud biorb pump buzz, where the sound was travelling down the airtube and the sound was comming from inside the biorb. This one just has the sound of the bubbles & that's it. Really impressed with it.UPDATE:I've had this now for 3 or 4 months and it's still going strong. I've noticed once my airstone starts to get clogged it will start making a quiet buzz, but as soon as I change the air stone, it's virtually silent again. The fish are all still fine using this pump, the kuhli loaches at the bottom arn't gasping for air, the fish swim all over the tank, and the sensitive oto cats are still alive and active, so it's doing a great job.

Honestly such a terrible little pump, for the price you would expect it to at LEAST power the airstone it comes with effectively or a small sponge filter however, it is just not powerful enough!For £14.99 you can get dual outlet air pumps that are leaps and bounds beyond this one and at less money for 2! They are so much more powerful than this piddly bubbler and can be turnt down or up to reduce the noise level (i turn mine on low for bed and if i am going out in the day i whack it up so that my fishes can have fun in it)I have been through two of these pumps and both were equally as bad and one even got the tubing it came with stuck on it (even tried scissors to get it off) and it still didnt budge, this has now had to go in the bin which in hindsight, is probably where it belonged in the first place.Honestly dont buy this product i cannot deter you enough, look around as there are sooo many better and cheaper options on Bolo. This is NOT a good pump, i could honestly blow into the tube harder than this pump can!

The media could not be loaded. Wow just wow I already have a sponge filter wanted to add air stone this little but mighty pump is excellent really is silent hangs nicely from the side with everything included, set up plug in an away you go highly recommend

Good product but should include a check valve

Overall very happy with the air bubbler. The only reason it's not five stars for me is because it really should come with a check valve, which I had to go and buy separately. Other than that though it is fairly quiet which we're pleased with. Also for those who may not know, a check valve is a small extra attachment on the air tube which helps prevent the water from accidentally siphoning backwards and draining the tank/flooding the floor. Would definitely recommend one as a safety measure, to protect both for your fish and the floor...
