Apparently, all cables aren't created equally. Before I bought this, I tried about 5 different USB-A and C cables to Micro-USB to get my camera linked to my computer. In the end, only one worked and typically, it was a tiny, 5cm long link cable... So I came on Bolo to look for a real solution and found this cable. After experiencing so many that failed to work, I was a bit concerned but it turns out this one connects the camera perfectly and makes remote shooting and transferring photos really quick, as well as using the camera as a webcam now being totally possible with Canon Webcam Utility. The cable itself is solid, quite thick and material wrapped so it feels durable, the length is also appreciated and it comes with a built-in cable tie for when you wrap it up for keeping things neat. Couldn't ask for more really, ideal!

I used this cable to transfer photos and videos from my Canon g7x mark ii to my mac book air and its worked perfectly! If anyone has the canon g7x too and is fed up of using the wireless settings to get your pics and videos this is a way faster option! Just plug it into your camera and laptop and then type image capture into your finder on your laptop and click on that and all your picsband video will be there. Hope that helps someone!

Brought this as a replacement lead for PowerShot SX70. Had no problem using lead to connect to PC for downloading images. Would recommend and would buy again if needed.

This cable fits my G9 mark 2 Cannon but the other end does not fit to my computer. I dont know what the cable is actually for but its not what I wanted and I am rather frustrated that its not clear when making the purchase
