Definitely not made to be used in heavy rain. Also, the major complaint of everyone in my family who has used it is that it's extremely hard to close. Don't recommend this. Please buy something else. This seems to come at the top of the results but it's not very good.Also, the auto closing is definitely a gimmick. It only closes halfway and then you need to pull to close it. And that's the hardest part. All 3 umbrellas are just as tight to close as the other. It's not isolated to one. I recommend buying something else.
Good quality in all aspects
I really like these umbrellas. I live at a very high altitude in South America that has high UV, sometimes strong winds, and a rainy season. Umbrellas are a daily necessity. This fits well in my bag and what I really like about it is how easy it is to collapse, wrap the band around, and put the cover back on it. No problems at all. That is very important to me when relying on public transportation because I don't want to be fumbling with my umbrella getting into transport. Others I have ordered on Bolo do not have good band/Velcro closure and it's impossible to get the cover back on because it bunches up so bad. It has been wind resistant for me, although huge gusts can probably turn any umbrella inside out. The umbrella opens very easily and quickly and it provides very good UV protection. I am not sure why people are saying it doesn't close easily. It's a sturdy product and it's closure is no different for me than any other collapsible umbrella. I've always just put the handle on my hip and pulled it down. The only umbrellas I have found that are easily collapsible are manual. This is collapsible with a button. Anyway, I recommend this product.

Es lo que había estado buscando. Buena relación precio - calidad y el mecanismo funciona según lo descrito. Cuesta un poco de trabajo volver a meterlos en su funda ya que viene un poco reducida pero fuera de eso todo bien.

These are much sturdier than I expected. I like the three pack because umbrellas seem to disappear around here with surprising frequency even though nobody ever seems to know what happened to them. Easy enough to open and close for this old lady with arthritis. I am quite satisfied.
