Bought to shield the car from copious sap and fine debris that has damaged previous vehicles unavoidably parked beneath a listed tree.Seller's photos are accurate and honest. Soft, elasticated ends wrap comfortably under front and rear bumpers of BMW X3 F25. New, the cover feels soft and flexible, yet weighty and robust. Lining is especially soft.There are helpful stitched-in wheel ties to anchor the cover, though not yet strength tested if high winds manage to get under the cover. A central stitched-in tie designed to fasten under the vehicle feels impractical but probably worth the effort if high winds are forecast. 'Front' is also helpfully labelled. Seams fall close to roof lines creating a useful visual guide for alignment.It takes two pairs of hands to put on and take off, to ensure the cover - particularly the soft cotton lining - doesn't touch the ground and pick up potentially paintwork-damaging grit. We have not yet tried covering or removing in bad weather; we are anticipating high winds could be tricky as the cover is effectively a large 'sail'!We have found that folding the cover carefully inside out on the bonnet as it is removed contains any muck that clings to the outer, especially when wet. To further keep the lining clean, we stash the cover in a large Really Useful box, still loosely folded inside out as storing in the original cover case would demand folding the cover tight and flat.Only time will tell how this cover weathers. Realistically, I hope to get at least three years before frost, wind and especially ultraviolet light do their worst. If paint damage is avoided then that will be a good value result.

This product is brilliant for a large SUV (see pics provided). The size is just perfect. The inner lining is soft and protects the paintwork of the vehicle from scratches. I really love the tie-downs that keep the cover from blowing away. The cover is water proof and protects the vehicle from dust and sap from trees. Birds have no chance either. The cover is easy to slip on to the car even with a single person doing it. There is a helpful tag that shows you which is the front - so you cannot go wrong. Very good quality and value for money. It keeps the car clean for longer periods and therefore saves money and on the times I have to wash my car. This product pays for itself. The only reason why I have not given this product 5 star is that it would have been helpful to have high viz reflective strips around the cover so that with limited light the covered vehicle is still visible to avoid accidents. I definitely recommend this product.

I have waited 3 months to give a review. In that time it has been on our mini cooper convertible and endured really strong winds, rain, frost and a little snow. It has stayed in place for the 3 months with no issues. I have just taken it off and it has done it's job really well. It has kept the mini dry and there is not a hint of mold on the soft top - which has been a problem in the past. Others have mentioned the cover leaving fluff or lint on the soft top roof - that has not happened for me. Amazingly, with a bit of effort, it even fits back into the carry bag that it arrived in. Based on my experience, I am very happy to strongly recommend.

I bought this to protect my Mazda roadster during snowy weather. It fits well albeit a little large. The underbody strap can become detached when the wind gets up and all straps had to be tied to the wheel or a knot applied since it only comes with one fastner for beneath the car body. Good quality fabric however.

Been using this type of product for many years and they always perform just as described. The waterproofing lasts reasonably well and the cover has a useful lifespan of about three years before I have needed to replace them. The price is good too for the quality of the cover construction. The main drawback is the shape is designed to fit a saloon car and if you have a hatchback (mines a Ford Focus) they don't fit as well. I even tried going for a large size but, although it covers better, the front and rear ties are further away from the wheels because of the extra length.

Having spent over two hundred pounds on car covers for my MX5 over the years, that have all claimed to be water proof and breathable, I have at last found this cover to be water proof. Even after torrential rain the car was dry. So in my opinion a cover described as "breathable" is NOT waterproof.
