Hi I bought a samsonite suitcase last year. I used it once, when I got back the suitcase had some slight scratches on it. So when I seen this product I thought great, I will purchase one. So I bought one in April this year, went on holiday in May and was so annoyed to see the state of the cover when I got back home. Samsonite I would like your views on this, looking forward to hear from you thanks.

Exactly what I needed!

Not very sturdy - comes off easily. The velcro could’ve been stronger or stitched across to match where it sticks!

First use - zipper of the cover, in the back of the luggage, moved and stayed behind the telescopic bar - made a big dent on the bar and now telescopic handle does not go up and down without a good bang.You buy a product thinking that will protect your brand new luggage and instead breaks - better use the 10 pounds luggage cover you buy anywhwere.

I love this luggage brand - it delivers on every single level. Having invested in a set of red ones about 8 years ago and loved (and used) them so much we decided to buy some more as the reds were starting to look a little battered (but are still perfectly usable). We bought 3 sizes, large, medium and small (all for the hold)They are expensive but I really believe are worth the money - I used to regularly HAVE to replace suitcases as they fell apart or just started to look SO bad but not with these cases. My favourite features1a) They are SUPER lightweight - you can pick all off them up (when empty!) with a single finger. This means (at least!!) 2 - 3KG extra luggage allowance - which as an over packer is important...1b) Another totally brilliant feature is, when and if a wheel comes off (which thanks to baggage handling they will occasionally do!), Unlike most other suitcases which are they consigned to scrap, Samsonite will send you a replacement wheel that is really pretty easy to replace yourself. We travel a lot so probably used this at least 4 times! which saved us so much money in the long run2) they are super easy to wheel around - including with all 4 wheels flat on the ground - they just glide along spinning and turning as required. They are so easy to use you can walk pulling or pushing 2 large suitcases along all on your own3) They are well made - they've got great water proof zips that to date have never broken - no matter how much action they've seen (they've seen a lot!), the inside is sensible ad easy to pack in, the zippered pocket that covers one side is very useful as is the small zippered pocket inside.All in all they are just a very good quality brand that will save you money in the long run. They are also good looking and come inn nice colours :)

This fitted perfectly and was easy to get on - it did bobble a bit in one small area after one return flight that would indicate it might age quickly, but as it costs £26 quid and to wrap a suitcase at the airport once is £20. this is more economical

Ottima custodia per valigia.
Acquistata per preservare la valigia nuova nei vari viaggi. Risolve il problema dello sporco alla fine dei viaggi. Facilmente lavabile. Consiglio.
Gute Qualität
Nachdem meine Koffer immer ziemlich verkratzt und dreckig vom Band kamen, habe ich mir mehrere Kofferhüllen zugelegt. Diese von Samsonite war zwar die teuerste, aber dafür erwies sie sich in der Praxis deutlich besser. Die günstigeren Alternativen reißten und die von Samsonite sieht genau so aus wie vorher - keine Risse oder Verformungen. Und wenn man diese abnimmt sieht der Koffer dadrunter aus wie vorher 😉Der einzige Knackpunkt ist der Klettverschluss, die Konkurrenz verwendet häufig einen Reisverschluss, was ich vom Gefühl her besser fand, da es einen sicherer vorkam.Ansonsten nur zu empfehlen, wenn man sich auch überlegt eine Kofferhülle zuzulegen.

Se ajusta bien.
Positivo: La funda se ajusta bien a la maleta. Y es bastante resistente, tras dos años de mucho uso solo está un poco desgastada y con algún pequeño agujero, pero se puede seguir usando (no está tan estropeada como para que merezca la pena el cambio), la verdad es que no pensé que fuera a dar tan buen resultado.Tiene una cremallera en el lateral para que puedas usar el asa del lateral o dejarlo cerrado si te apañas solo con las asas superiores.Negativo: Lo que menos me gusta es el lateral de licra, mucho menos resistente (ahí es donde están los agujeros) que el resto de la funda, pero dado que la maleta es extensible, supongo que un material más resistente no permitiría que la funda se adapte a la maleta en sus dos anchos.Tampoco me apasiona el velcro de cierre: si llevas la maleta por la calle puede abrirse (nada que no puedas solucionar con un imperdible). Otros modelos de funda tienen una cremallera para cerrarla y ese sistema me gusta más.En general, me parece una buena funda, pero no tiene nada especial que una funda de otras marcas no pueda ofrecer por un mejor precio.
