My wife is a teacher and spends hours taking down and putting up displays within the classroom, as well as having to prepare large books of the children's work, which requires staples and the need for staple removers frequently.Your staple removers tick all the boxes and the fact that they came as a pack of 3 was pure icing on the cake.They are ready to use and very functional. Thank you.

Upon taking out one of the three staple removers from my purchase pack, an initial inspection suggested that this was a fairly robust item, however, having used the locking mechanism a couple of times, the little piece of black plastic that serves as the lock somehow 'pinged' out. It shot out like a bullet, and despite launching an immediate 'search and rescue' operation, the damned thing has so far eluded me. And so, I was left with only two lockable removers without even having used any of them on an actual staple! Anyway, having tested the other two removers, the locking mechanisms seems fine and they do the job okay. The plastic finger grips are adequate, but no more. I can see that they would not last long if the staple remover was used on anything more demanding than regular office staples. Not the best quality staple remover on the market, but it does the job.

I'm sure these are OK for normal office use, but i was using them to remove a lot of posters from wooden boards and all 6 broke over the course of about an hour. to be fair It was heavy duty work and i should probably have invested in a stronger remover but i didnt expect all 6 to break.
