It is nice and compact so fits in any pocket and easy to travel with. The battery life is great and comes with batteries. The reception and quality of the sound is ideal, i use it to pick up ref mic at rugby matches as this particular radio is able to reach lower frequencies than many others.

Just pop in the two AAA batteries and switch on. I haven't detected any stereo separation, although it is advertised as being stereo. The tone is predominantly treble, but the sound is clear - fine for walks. It comes with a lanyard for round the neck (personally I would have preferred a belt clip). It seems to be good value - after all what can you get these days for under eight quid?

Bought this specifically as it's small and can pick up reflink / TV commentry like the fan radios. Really small and good battery life. The sound is good enough for reflink and speach but I haven't used this for high fidelity listening to music.

This is a world apart from the carboard cased, single earphone Twickenham Reflink that costs £1 less!Frequency 61Mhz gets you match commentary, 61.5Mhz gets just the ref, both crystal clear, 62Mhz gets a combination of both albeit a bit crackly. However head and shoulders above the on site Reflink.Today at the England v South Africa game this radio was without a doubt man of the match for me.Will update this review after I get a chance to try it up against the Premiership Rugby match radio when I get to the next Bears game at Ashton Gate.

I’ve used the club supplied radios for many years. This isn’t as idiot proof, or as convenient, but it is half the price and a better quality sound. I think you want 62.5mhz for rugby commentary, the ref link is close to that

I got this for listening to the radio when walking. Worked well in the begining but soon the earphones started to give hassle. The problem being where they plug into the radio. It takes a serious amount of fidgeting to keep the connection. Annoying. No longer in use.
