1.0 out of 5 stars Simply does not work

    P. · 22 July 2022

I bought these hanging devices as a previous reviewer stated they worked on Magpies. They don't, certainly not in my garden. The pests went through 5 fat balls in less than 12 hours with the horrible eyes mocking me rather than scaring the birds. Also unsure why the back is grey and why there is a nodule which seems to serve no purpose for a hanging device? Later decided to put two back to back so light reflected no matter which way they faced but got the same result.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely fanastic!

    J.D.M. · 12 November 2021

After months of trying to keep magpies away from my bird feeders where they stopped any of the smaller birds, these simple devices have nailed the problem it seems! The combination of the visual "predatory eye" plus the highly reflective surfaces and movement have done the trick and the larger birds won't come near the feeders now. Of critical important is that the smaller birds are not fazed at all and now come in droves to feed. I'm so delighted with this simple yet elegant solution and highly recommend them.

    It actually works

    S.i.N. · 12 December 2023

My house has windows on all 4 sides and is surrounded by forest; so lots of birds pass by daily. Following several recent bird strikes (fortunately only one dead), we had to try something. I bought 3 packages so I could hang the Eyes one each on the inside of smaller windows and a couple spaced on large windows. They were suspended from the inside glass using the small hooks on 1 inch suction cups (from hardware store). So far no more bird strikes.

    So far so good
