I've been using gaffer tape forever, various brands, but I was taken aback by how strong this is. Not as easy to tear though,which might be a an issue if you don't tend to use a Stanley or similar to cut, but really next level strength - kick ass.

I recently bought a smart lock for our home (Aqara U200) and I planned to use the included 3M sticky mounting grips to attach it to our door lock. After a few days, I noticed it leaning away from our door, the included grip didn’t feel strong enough and pulled away from the door with a gentle pull.Enter the double sided strips from T-Rex.I took the lock off and removed the areas of 3M adhesive grip which made contact with the door and lock and replaced them with cut-to-size bits of the T-Rex strips.The results were immediately better, there is no give on pulling, prodding or pushing the lock on the side. It’s perfectly strong, feels like a durable hold and actually feels like the door may come off rather than the lock if I pulled it hard enough!

Finally something that keeps my dash cam on my windscreen!! I have tried countless others, some pricier than this, thinking more expensive meant better stick!! How wrong was I.Every other one stick and seems secure until the next day when I’d come out to dash cam dangling from roof!! This has stuck and stayed stuck. 2 weeks later we are still going strong. Long may it last, although there’s plenty to replace even if it does fail every month or so. Still better than daily!*Edit*Feel this is worthy of an edit as I’m astonished every morning. 2 months down the line and my dash cam is as secure as the day it was first stuck. Thought the cold weather may have sealed its fate. Even with the window frosting up on the inside, this is still going strong.I can only think the people having issues with this aren’t doing the proper prep.**Further Edit** struggling with the negative reviews as I specifically came back to update on the basis that 9 months after using this I had to gift my dash cam to Arnold Clarke with trade in, as I couldn’t remove this from my windscreen!! Really thought I was going to break the window before this gave up! Don’t understand how it is failing for people. Clean your window folks, won’t stick otherwise.

Not used it yet, but had before and works well. Bought for a hiking trip as emergency repair kit for boots, waterproofs etc. Very useful thing to have in my backpack.
