Cast iron pans need a bit of TLC fact. This pan arrives already seasoned and after a wash and heating up with some oil and a wipe with a cloth was ready to go.I cooked fajitas in this pan which has even heat distribution. The food was cooked to perfection and tasted great. Using the bonus wooden stand was great as the heat retention in the cast iron kept the food piping hot. The pan easily cleaned in warm soapy water. A quick warm in the hob and a wipe with oil and it's ready to go again.I've ordered 3 more, one each for the kids.

I wanted to switch away from modern non-stick pans 9which never last long) and try good old fashioned (healthy) cast iron. Rather than go for a very expensive one and perhaps get disappointed if I didn't get on with it, I decided to try this very reasonably priced product - just thought I didn't have much to lose if we were not compatible.Now, I don't normally leave many reviews, BUT...This is actually a great pan! There are some slightly rough areas which I thought may cause sticking. They don't. I must admit, I did season the pan twice myself before first use, despite it being pre-seasoned. Just in case.It is wonderful! So far I have successfully cooked omelette, French toast, veggie fritters, sea bass, veggie sausages, fried eggs. Nothing sticks!!! Yes I do use a little oil and/or butter, but I'm really impressed so far.If there was a larger version (perhaps with a lid) I'd be ordering that too.Well done on producing a great product at a very affordable price point!

Good quality casting, weighty and its non stickability is holding up well so far, but not convinced about its longevity. Nice touch with the wooden holder tray enabling the pan to be brought to the table and used without additional matts. The cast iron dish is not dishwasher proof, but being non stick for the moment, it rinses clean very easily.

Good small but heavy pan, easily took a new season making it quite nonstick surface. Personally use it purely for cooking so found no use for wooden platter (hence the dropped star), but I suppose useful for some. Good buy at the price.

On the face of it, the pan looks good quality, but my experience was that the seasoned surface peeled badly after just its third use. Unfortunately I used the pan so infrequently that it was actually out of warranty (which appears to be just 30 days), which I accept.I know how to maintain cast iron cookware - no dishwashers or metal tools, etc. So, I can’t recommend this one given that the peeled surface made the pan unusable despite being (in my opinion) being appropriately cared for.

Much better than expected! Really heavy by the way, I wasn’t expecting that. Not anything where you’d need help. However, It’s noticeable.It’s a non-stick. I haven’t had a problem removing food, or stains. So far no rust. Everything with the food is fantastic. I just wish it was slightly bigger. My first cast iron so it’s not a bad size to practice as my first use. I just would’ve liked it to be slightly bigger to fit more food.It also comes with a holder to put the cast iron on. If there isn’t anywhere to put it, you’ve just taken it out the oven or off the stove. Instead on putting it on the work top. You can just place it on top of the holder. Great product!
