Bought this because the engine warning light came on in my wife's car and knowing it could be anything from emissions to a failure of a part so knowing what garages can be like for charging for these sorts of things so I got this to hopefully find out the cause and hopefully sort it. It was so easy to use just plug into the socket in the car and it powers up, a simple menu appears from which I selected scan vehicle which it did and came up with an emissions problem it then asked if I wanted to clear the fault which I did to see if it would reoccur when I restarted the car which it did not and has not up to now so problem solved in a matter of minutes. So pleased as a garage could have charged anything from 40 to a 100 pounds or more for a simple fix. So definitely satisfied with this purchase and its simplistic ease of use.

The code reader worked straight out of the packet for my 2017 Nissan X Trail.The MOT showed the engine light on due to an O2 sensor which the garage cleared prior to the MOT.The light came back on in a few hours after the test so I bought a few doses of fuel cleaner and put that through the fuel system, the light stayed on until I attached the code reader.It identified the fault and I was then able to clear it so far the light has stayed off.Already saving me money!

Awesome and bought to diagnose my Ford Focus MK2.5 (2010) easy to use for those like me who have very little knowledge on faults. Have good reading of fault code with a narrative of issue and I managed to clear codes very easily to prevent limp mode so I could get to the garage. Saved ÂŁ45 by not needing a garage diagnostic for diagnosis of fault. I simply Informed the local handy mechanic of fault so the fix was done straight away. No issues since đ

Used this on my 2014 vw sharan 2.0 TDi emissions light been on, my local garage have reset it twice ( for free- thanks Wynnâs motors cardiff) but decided to adopt a watch and wait policy as different codes each time, decided to get this so I could monitor what is happening myself and report back, worked straight out of box, and was able to get code ( not on database on unit but able to look it up - adblue heater so no worry in summer) have reset the code will continue to monitor, the unit seems well built.

Bought as i wanted to upgrade from an older OBD reader which is over 13 years old, i plugged in and it read the fault and then when i selected erase it said erase complete but it did not remove the fault, i tried numerous times and nothing, i then plugged my cheap old unit in and it erased first time. Sent back for refund. I would recommend paying a little more for a better unit.

Almost all modern cars now are so controlled by computers that even the simplest fault can send it into limphome mode. I was keen to get hold an OBD II scanner after recently having a check engine light which I didn't want to incur the cost of going to a garage to find out it was something simple that I could remedy but the only way to know this is to use a scanner.The scanner connects into the cars onboard OBDII socket - its usually under the dashboard somewhere and it starts by reading the stored error codes in the computer and you have several options, to clear the fault if it can be cleared or to learn more about the fault. In my case the scanner identified that the MAF sensor was not reading correctly and so I tried to clear the fault but the check engine light came back on after a few minutes which suggested that the sensor actually needed to be checked or replaced. I retrieved the sensor from inside the airbox and noted it was fairly dirty - a quick blast with some contact spray and I replaced it - reset the computer with the tool and all was good - the issue hasn't returned. I reckon this has saved me a fairly big garage bill, so really happy with the tool.

Works for my clubman R55, read and cleared the code. Codes for Mini can be looked up in the category of BMW, since thereâs no separate category for Mini

Ein richtiges BilliggerĂ€t. Taugt das was? Ich muss ehrlich sagen: FĂŒr manche FĂ€lle schon.Ich brauchte es um einen nervigen Fehlercode bei einem alten Peugeot zu löschen. Das hat Problemlos geklappt und der Code blieb lange weg. Es wurde scheinbar sogar der richtige Fehler erkannt.Auch bei einem alten Golf hat es geklappt. SelbstverstĂ€ndlich sollte man nicht zu viel von dem GerĂ€t erwarten. Bessere GerĂ€te gehen aber auch erst beim zehnfachen Preis los und ĂŒber ProfigerĂ€te brauchen wir gar nicht reden. Wer wirklich nur hier und da mal einen Erstcheck selber machen will, ist mit dem GerĂ€t gut bedient. Die ErklĂ€rung ist selbsterklĂ€rend, natĂŒrlich gibt es auch hier und da kryptische Anzeigen und komische Ăbersetzungen. Trotzdem war ich eher positiv ĂŒberrascht. Auch die SteuergerĂ€te habe ich mir nicht zerschossen. FĂŒr den geringen Preis und zum absoluten groben Austesten kann ich den Mini von Launch empfehlen. Volle Punktzahl.

Je ne fais que trĂšs rarement des commentaires positifs.J'ai achetĂ© ce produit pour ne plus devoir aller au garage et payer plus cher que le prix de la valise elle mĂȘme !Fonctionne sur Lancia Musa. Il a diagnostiquĂ© l'erreur et a fait disparaitre le signal d'erreur. âïžAinsi je pourrai voir si c'est une vraie avarie, qui reviendra.. ou bien si c'Ă©tait un problĂšme Ă©lectronique passager dĂč aux tempĂ©ratures!Mais dans tous les cas, mĂȘme si l'anomalie a disparue, il faut la valise pour faire disparaitre le signal!Je pense que c'est un outil utile pour une voiture vieillissante et faire quelques Ă©conomies ou bien se rassurer.Je suis satisfait de mon achat. Je ne sais pas si une autre marque aurait Ă©tĂ© mieux ou moins bien.
