After exploring all options I went for these rather than using other methods and being an electrician working with data it was easy enough to crimp plugs on the cut cables and install these. They’re a great size to fit inside of a junction/Wiska box and I had no loss of data speed/connection once installed. Perfect for the job and so far 6+ months down the line I’ve had no issues. Great product for the money and will continue to use these.

I wanted to test out the effectiveness of using one of these connectors rather than the four port hub I have used up to now (for a single connection). There is no noticeable difference in performance, so I've used the hub elsewhere. I'd rather have bought a single connector, but perhaps I'll have further use for the other four in years to come.
