It is very basic, but it works.It is just a plastic ball filled with back liquid in which pieces of plastic with answers written on them float.You just move it/shake it and read the answers that floats on top, where a viewing windows is located.At times it can be a bit difficult to read the answer, when the piece of plastic who floated to the top is not in contact (or very close) to the viewing window. But moving it a bit it normally solves the problem.Overall, it is pretty much as expected.

It works… just. A big problem is the liquid inside is very dark, and the 20-sided die inside does not float high enough.So you’re reading the text through a few millimetres of very dark liquid, which is very hard.It certainly doesn’t look anything like it does in the photos on this page.

Item was damaged, had scratches and marks around the 8, packaging was fine so this is obviously a manufacturing issue.

Works as expected.
I got this to help me from making sarcastic remarks to my students when they ask silly questions like "Can I go to the bathroom?" (even though they had just spent the entirety of passing time flirting with a girl that's in his group and the bell had JUST rung). It helps... sometimes. The kids think its funny that their bathroom habbits are being decided by a magic 8 ball (secretly I say yes or no based on what I had decided anyway). Its funny because the kids don't argue with the ball. XD

What a life saver! Prior to this Magic 8 Ball, I was so indecisive. Before the Magic 8 Ball I would have stared at this Bolo Review field and I would contemplate, "Should I write and Bolo Review? Should I not write an Bolo Review?" and I would go back and forth and back and forth with no clarity on if I should even write a review. Now those days are long gone. Just this morning I asked my Magic 8 Ball if I should write a review about my new Magic 8 Ball and it said to me, "Ask again later." I have saved so much time! Instead of spending hours contemplating if I should write a review or not, I went about my day. When later arrived, I asked the Magic 8 Ball again if I should write a review and it replied with, "Signs point to yes". So here I am, writing a review. My next question for the Magic 8 Ball was if I should rate it 5 stars. The response was "Yes, definitely." I then asked if I should review any other features and the response was, ""My sources say no". So there you have it. The Magic 8 Ball has spoken.
