Brought to check what the error code was on my car, plugged it in looked it up, and managed to fix car myself rather than costly garage fees, so easy to use

You get what you pay for . There are some other diagnostic gadget more advanced but you pay more . This one I purchased is good for my need and happy with it also it came with all the diagnostic code book which is very useful .

Once we’d worked out how to use it which was not too difficult, it gave us a few codes. Tells you in the back what the fault it, but not ALL faults. Had to Google the code and kind of cross reference. Knew it was the dpf, but had to confirm. BEWARE, some faults will not be cleared until problem solved (dpf blocked). Had to drive around to clear it, put machine back on in the hole it had worked, and tried clearing the code to enable us to drive the 300 miles home not in limp mode. Thankfully it worked. Good bit of kit.

Bit mean with cable length could be supplied longer. To have to buy a longer cable makes the unit expensive!
