The kind of tough weeds which seemingly nothing could exterminate. It worked perfectly - within 4 weeks of application, weeds completely died down and didn't come back. Zero mess, zero scratches, you just wait for a sunny day, apply it and let it do its work - it works slowly, but eliminates the problem completely.And because it is very thick and topical, it could be applied around "good plants" with minimum risk - some of the bindweeds were treated within few inches of our flowerbed without any ill effects on flowers.

4 stars as lacks clear instructions (and Im an ex Maths teacher so capable of calculating properly) for use on bottle [ Edit in fairness discovered the label had come off first bottle (Poor)] however 20ml in a 3 litre sprayer has worked for us BUT a larger sprayer would be a better option, worked well on a recent Himalayan Balsam invasion on a bank (a surprise worked so well) but respect should not be used near water courses. Taken 8 - 10 days for weeds to show dying back around an ex horse paddock but a clear line where i sprayed. Will repeat the task next week.

I bought this product to kill ivy, bamboo & honeysuckle. Previously I have used "SBK Brushwood Killer" to do this, but after some initial success, it failed to do the job & all targets made a full recovery. In particular, there was no effect on the bamboo.With this product I followed the simple instructions under the label to make a full strength "rhododendron" mix & gave my three victims a liberal spraying. Then I waited. And waited. And waited.Two weeks after spraying, the only visible effect on any of my targets was a slight browning on some of the leaves. I made a mental note to leave a scathing review here, on my purchase of yet another useless product.However, by the third week the health of all of my victims had began to deteriorate rapidly. The leaves were now nearly all brown & thereafter the health of my three targets continued to spiral downwards.Job done, with just a single application. Highly recommended!
