I installed the Yale Smart Door/ Window Sensor in my outdoor storage box on my driveway. The sensor paired instantly with the Yale hub and appears in my HomeAssistant dashboard. This compact sensor is significantly smaller than Yale's standard door sensor while maintaining solid build quality.

Needed some extra motion detectors for my existing Yale alarm system and these at the job.I had no problems connecting it and installation was very easy.They’re expensive but a worthwhile investment to provide some extra security around your property.Hope you found my review helpful.

I used AC-PETPIR with Yale sync smart home alarm system as the perimeter alarm for my rear garden previously , it has false alarm whenever the sun heat up the tree in the afternoon … it is not reliable for being used as a outdoor PIR .I have installed CCTV all around the house and the garden , why I need yale as the perimeter alarm system ? They point is , there is case when you are not available to the cctv notification. , so a perimeter alarm is needed to trigger the outside siren automatically if burglar is detected .This new outdoor PIR arrived , I think the key feature is the double knock feature , I install 2 of them in my rear garden yesterday , still monitoring if it has false alarm or not .They are linked to the hub and the app , I will on the ARM mode when I am not in home , so , if any burglar in the garage will trigger the alarm and the siren before they try to break the windows or door into the house . Work together with the house police linkage alarm system with vibration sensors and PIR sensors . I hope it can give a peace of mind to me .With all the doors upgraded to 3 star cylinder lock , with 3M protective film installed on all windows and glasses . I do hope the perimeter alarm is working and functioning , so as to buy time for police to come if the burglar arrived .p.s I am thinking to add one more Yale siren to the Yale system , to strength the siren .

Love these sensors. They are so easy to install and don't false trigger (I have a sensor pointing at my front door and posted letters and newspapers through the door and the alarm did not activate). Used one sensor in my log cabin which is 140 meters away from the base unit and it works perfectly. So pleased that I can alarm my house, garage and log cabin from one alarm. I switch to part arm when home (so the alarm to the log cabin and garage is still activated). These sensors are amazing! Highly recommended!

Two new PIR sensors ordered from gardengoodiesgb. These were delivered and packages in bubble wrap and protective packaging rather than the original boxes from Yale. The devices look unused and identical to ones I already have and work fine with my system. I just would have expected that new product come fully packaged.

Hareketi yakalıyor
Bu sensörden üç tanesini kullanıyorum. Genel olarak başarılı yakalıyor. Ürünü severek kullanıyorum. Pasif bir sensör olduğu için ve belirli bir hızın üzerinde hareketi yakaladığı için bazı zayıf tarafları var. Mesela, annem çok yaşlı, normalde de çok yavaş hareket ediyor ve bir gece karanlıkta mutfağa giderken o kadar yavaş hareket etmiş ki, sensör tarafından görülen bir alanda yaklaşık 5 metre ilerlemeyi başarmış. Sensöre 4 metre kala sensör tarafından yakalandı. Açıkçası normal bir hırsızlık durumunda bunun sorun olacağını sanmıyorum. Tavsiye ederim.
