Convertible ballet tights have become the norm in ballet because of the convenience of being able to transition from footed to footless. ie. when changing from normal ballet shoes to pointe shoesBloch tights also provide light compression on leg muscles and foot which improves circulation and helps dancers to “feel” their legs and engage the correct muscles. Our go to tights for ballet.

Bought for my very slim daughter. First time she put them on they laddered so she was unable to wear. They are small fitting but none of her other dance tights have done this. Would not recommend these unless your child is very small.

Love the quality of Bloch’s tights. They hold up well throughout the season, and the convertible feet make it easy for my daughter to switch to dancing barefoot when she needs to. She is tiny, and the small size fits her really well (but stretches to accommodate growth!). Worth spending the money on Bloch rather than getting off-brands that are cheaper but don’t last nearly as long. These wash well and she can wear them over and over without rips or tears.
