I scrolled through a lot of the reviews before purchasing these. Had originally come on to order Milk Thistle tablets as my right side had been killing me for ages and was wondering if it was liver problems. Had also had a severely aching neck and shoulder blade (right hand side) for a month or 2 and found an article online that suggested this could be to do with sluggish liver.So I ordered these with the hopes that they might help it a little. However, I really believe that they have helped a Whole Lot! After about 2 weeks of taking I started noticing the pains subsiding. I am now about halfway down the tub, so maybe a month in, and hardly have any pain left at all. Admittedly I have cut down on alcohol as well (certainly not completely stopped though), but I really really believe that these tablets have helped massively. Will definitely be buying them again.Smell pretty turmericy when you open the tub, and I reckon my urine smelt a bit like it to start with, but don't notice anything now. (Perhaps i've got used to it :-D)Personally find them easy and smooth to swallow, however they are pretty big capsules, and I know my husband would never be able to get them down.Fully recommend trying them if you feel you have a sluggish liver! I have a NAFL due to effects of chemo years ago and current medication I have to take. It was a shock to me but made me so aware of the reason behind various symptoms I was suffering from. The first things you think about with a badly functioning liver is yellow eyes, yellowing skin and perhaps weight gain. The less obvious signs are insomnia, fatigue, bad digestion, skin problems, dry and brittle hair and nails....the list is endless but this is because our liver is a very important part of our immune system and general body filtering and flushing system.I had tried various things and have been taking this for the last 2 months. I have noticed a better functioning digestive system (I won't give the details on how I know that!) and the sclera are appearing to be slightly less yellow. In my case with the major meds I have to take daily, I do not imagine that I will ever have a completely healthy liver but anything that keeps in at least functioning the best it can, it better than nothing.So.. so far I have noticed an improvement and will continue to take this indefinitely. Before this I did try dessicated liver tablets which seemed to do absolutely nothing but reduce my bank balance! I do believe in a more holistic approach to health anyway and we definitely learn a thing or two from the old fashioned herbal remedies.Overall, this product seems to be actually doing something. I won't get a clearer picture until one of my quarterly scans shows an improvement that can be noticeable to the technician but overall I am sleeping a little better, and my eyes are starting to look blue again due to the whites looker whiter so there must be a reason to keep taking these and as there is 2months supply in each bottle it is only basically £8 a month. Much cheaper than Dessicated bovine liver supplements and apparently more effective and I have not had any side effects while taking them.

Have been buying LivPro for a while now and until the latest buy was really happy. I open up the capsules and add them to my daily fruit shake. Until now, the capsules have been transparent so you could see exactly what’s inside them (which isn’t really important as I open them up anyway) and the powder orange in colour, presumably the turmeric. Now the capsules are opaque, obscuring what’s inside but the powder now is beige and the capsule is half filled. As far as I can see or smell there is no longer any turmeric in them? I’m not sure if I’ve purchased a faulty batch as packaging problems do happen. The sceptic in me is suspicious that the capsule change is a money saving moment where the purchaser is being fiddled. I have contacted the manufacturer directly but as yet have not heard from them.

These are a good supplement but only as a “additional” item to your excisting liver cleanse protocol. Do not expect these to sure any cirrosis, NAFLD as the ingredients are minimal.*Caution; take these with minimum 250ml water pref on empty stomach (not with food) manufacteur recommends 2l water.The bad reviews due to sickness bloating headache etc is due to not enough water or allergies.For lfatty/toxic liver take:Soak org Castor oilton flannel over liver and pancreas then wrap chest in clingfilm then wrap bath towel around chest with hot water bottle for at least 2h (overnight best). This will remove toxins quickly and will move them to another place (colon)Take 1 tbls granulated lecithin with each meal (in glass of water or on food) this stops fat going to liver.Take milk thistleRed yeast1 lemon in water each morning breaks up fat in body just like on dishes.1tsp Lysine and 1/2 -1 tsp asorbic acid in water 30m before food.Digestive enzymesPancreatic enzymes everyday.Most important thing is eat healthy diet not processed foods which are filled with hydrogenated fats. Limit fatty foods.Only cook with coconut oil not olive,canola,sunflower etc.To see how toxic these become if you leave them outside for 1 month. They are saturating your liver Now!

I like the color of these pillls - nice and soothing - beige. I dont know iff their doing me any good - I'm not a physician - i'm juss going on trust. they come in a nice box, so the are kept clean from all the dust particles in the atmosphere these days.

Please keep in mind several things. First I am not a doctor. I consulted with my doctor before taking this supplement. Please also consult your doctor before you take this, or any supplement for that matter. Each individual is different. Your doctor is the best one to ultimately decided if this supplement is right for you.I wanted to give these a few weeks or so to see how well they work before writing this review. They are fairly large pills but don't seem to have a taste when taking them. They don't cause me any issue after I take them. Fish Oil for example I can still "taste" up to an hour after taking it. I started taking these roughly the 9th of November when I received them. On the 7th of December I had an appointment already for blood work. Today I got the results back.First though a little history. I started taking cholesterol medicine about two years ago, and that raised my liver enzyme levels. They plateaued after about a year later and have basically stayed the same since. After roughly a month of taking this they are lower. Lower as in outside the margin of error lower. Still high mind you, but they are moving the right direction for a change. Therefore they seem to work. I do however reserve the right to update this review if that changes in future blood tests.

I always find it so difficult to review supplements. It's hard to say whether they are actually working or if there is some placebo effect. With a supplement for specific purpose like this one is, the only way to really assess how good it is will be to get my liver enzyme blood tested after taking it for a while. I do have elevated liver enzymes that appears to be related to fatty liver, although I don't have a formal diagnosis of that yet. So, I do have a baseline from my last blood test before taking these. I'll have to update this after 3-6 months for the effectiveness of these supplements. However, I'm giving these a provisional 5 start rating because of what they don't do...they don't make me sick, or give me any unwanted side effects at all. I feel exactly the same after taking them as I did before taking them...which in my book is good. If there's nothing in them to give me bad side effects, then I can take them and move on to evaluating their effectiveness with my next blood test. So, 5 stars for now...update at next blood test.
