Hesitated before buying this kettle because of some negative reviews but it exceeds expectations. It is beautifully made and looks fantastic and lovely to the touch. Some people complained about the lid not opening quick enough. You press the top and it opens slowly - about 1 second. If you make it to the sink quicker than that let the Olympics squad know. This is an expensive kettle and it reeks of quality. It boils quieter than any other kettle I've owned. Some people complained about it being difficult to see the water level but that is always a problem with kettles. Unless you're trying to see the exact amount - say max or min – it shouldn't be a problem and yes you might have to peer but that's probably an age thing. Unless it breaks down (outside the guarantee period which I think it two years) I can't see me having a problem with it.

Looks great and boils water.... what more can I say? It is pricey but if you are considering it you already like the style and are looking at 'premium' options. Build quality seems good too.

Lovely looking kettle, easy to hold and sits nicely on the base, but it does tend to be noisy. My leaky Russel Hobbs was far quieter!

I received smeg kettle having decided to risk ordering a ‘very good- used’ one.This turned out to be a very big mistake!Any previous misconception that I held in thinking Bolo would be thoroughly inspecting and ensuring item was in excellent condition prior to sending was wrong!All that was missing was the last owner’s teabag literally!!On opening the smeg box was torn and dented in one side.This didn’t bother me, but the real surprise was inside I was horrified to find a heavily corroded kettle with paintwork missing around the top of it, and yellowed almost burn’t looking lead. Inside the kettle had water droplets inside it and no labels on either the kettle base or kettle itself. On plugging it in a strong burning smell came from the kettle so it was swiftly unplugged and returned!! I appreciate that I had risked it, in view of the good saving by clicking the ‘used - good’ option, however this was heavily used and didn’t function safetly and I am certain It would not have passed a electrical safety test!!! Furthermore It has no barcode on it so bear in mind that if you purchase one of these ‘used’ kettles that you will be unable to claim under warranty as barcodes / serial numbers are not on the kettles. Very disappointed

This isn't cheap by any means but it looks fabulous even just siting there (sad I know ha) it works really well and boils water efficiently and pretty fast too. The temperature cut out works well, the noise level not bad actually when in use.

Wrong plug for Australia 🤦♂️
For god sake, I purchased this from Bolo itself and I received it with the wrong plug!There was no information about the type of the plug and no image showing it. I purchased this from Australia and I trusted Bolo sends me the right product.I’m very frustrated as I don’t want to spend money to buy an adapter and it will not look good either.Not sure what I have to do with this product now 😞
