I had it for two months now. It is light to be sturdy, nothing to say about the finishes too, the exterior (not sure is real leather) looks neat and smart, like an old magic's book as someone said. From the pics you cannot see there is a nice black elastic strap if you want to secure the two halves that is tight if you do not want to use it. The internal pocket is very tight but it does the job. The inside is kind of velvety and it gives a nice grip to my left hand, or when open all the way, it grips nicely against anything I am holding it against, like my cloths or a cushion. Thanks.

I looked around in vain for a while for a decent cover like this, and finally found this old-style leatherbound hardback cover for my kindle. I was certainly not disappointed upon arrival. It not only looks pleasing to the eye it's also well made, fairly solid, can handle being dropped and definitely fits well. I decided to not bother using the 4 straps in each corner which felt a little precarious and instead secure it properly by glueing my rubber kindle drop-proof backcover inside it. So far so good and it has all worked out great. I can now read my kindle more like a real book, holding it from the top, middle or two-handed, depending on what i feel like. it feels more natural than holding the kindle in a single hand which i never truly felt comfortable with as a lifelong reader of paper books. Really gorgeous for the money and well pleased.

Wish it was offered in different sizes instead of 'one size fits all', because it most certainly does not. It's a lot bigger and bulkier than the 6" Kindle, which I didn't really mind as I'd expected as much from the dimensions, but the little rubber bands at the corners meant to hold your device just don't grip onto the 6" Kindle at all and mine kept falling out, leading to a few close shaves! Because of that I can't give it 5 stars, since it's meant to protect my device. I'm sure it would be perfect for a slightly larger model of e-reader though.

Such a beautiful case. Looks like a little mysterious book.However, it’s a little big for my kindle (the standard 2022 one) - it slips out quite easily.. and this frustrates me 😅 the elastic that holds it closed is placed a little funny that it does confuse me sometimes.

.......it's still going strong. It's got a little elastic thingy so you can make sure it stays closed in your bag and your kindle doesn't get scratched. It doesn't add much extra weight and so far it's holding up really well. Happy with this purchase.

I really love this kindle cover and the way it looks like an old book when it's on the shelf. One thing to note is that for some reason it doesn't send my kindle into sleep mode when I use it or register when it's been opened, so you just have to use the power button each time. However, I don't mind this at all because it's so beautifully made.

Its not very good for my nook the corner straps don’t fit it properly it’s a lovely design though I’m going to have to sew some larger elastic pieces in as these don’t hold correctly it would be good for a slimmer book reader

Both my Kindle Paperwhite 6.8 (2021) and Storytel Reader fits perfectly in this one. The picture makes it look a bit small for the Kindle, but it really isn't. There's about 4 mm space on each side, and for me that's enough.Also I love that it looks like an old book 😍I can highly recommend this case. Seems to be of good quality, so I'm expecting to be able to use this one for a long time.
