This product saved me tons of time during this years festive season. I make about 300 dough balls for Christmas morning monkey bread and this mix makes it so easy. 500 grams of mix and some warm water. Viola’ Knead for 10 minutes and you have perfect dough. I also made flat bread with this mix. Just added some seasoning to the mix and pan fried. They were amazing! I will buy this every year to make that monkey bread, and keep on hand to use throughout the year. ❤️

I use this flour all the time as I never buy bread. It’s so easy to make this bread. You’ll need two loaves a week (between 2 people). Warm your bowl. Just use 4 cups of the flour and enough warm water to make a ragged dough. Kneed. Rise in a warm place foe 20 mins. Bake at gas mark 6 for 55 mins. Voila! A perfect loaf every single time. Slices easily too. Keeps well and can be frozen. Been doing this for 18 months now. Wouldn’t buy supermarket bread ever again! This flour means no faffing about with separate yeast, or if you used to do soda bread with vinegar and bicarbs. None of that either. Just this flour and warm water!

McDougall's bread mix flour makes good tasting bread. I have also made rolls and French baguettes. But the only fault I have with it is the Best Before date is too short hence only 4 stars. Otherwise a good basic bread mix that is easy to use.

Perhaps just my taste but this was lacking in flavour without the addition of salt to the mix. Other than that and the extortionate price (bought this in the peek of the COVID flour shortage) it's an ok product.
