I had to disassemble the first worktable because of that mistake.And as noted by other reviews - instructions are terrible. Chuck them away and just go by the product picture.

This is a reasonable item for the occasional DIYer if you are a builder daily using it for heavy work, don't bother, for a DIYer for light to medium work, it should be fine.As others have said this requires assembly, and the instructions are NOT user-friendly, a lot of common sense is required as the instructions are shockingly poor, but once together this is a reasonable workbench for the price is reasonable.If you have serious heavy prolonged projects I would advise spending more for a more robust heavy duty workbench ( but that involves far more expense ) .

TERRIBLE. Light weight, flimsy, instructions do not match parts. I returned over 2 months ago but have not yet received a credit and the Bolo website won't let me contact either the seller, or Bolo. Only £20 but I feel cheated by both companies.

Cheap and cheerful surprised made quite a good standard quite sturdy. Would recommend for light usage as it is not that strong as like a black and decker but will serve you well if you don't take it beyond its capability's. For 18 pound what do you really expect it is a bargain for the home DIYER The boarding is MDF medium density and will serve well just remember do not put too much stress on it i am pleased and price fair.

The product itself is okay like it works but there was several issues. 1. The manual is black and white so you can't even see the instructions properly 2. The instructions aren't clear 3. The manual looks outdated and the product itself isn't the exact same. The bolt that is used to attach the handleetal bar to the wood both of them weren't made properly, I had to get a nut first screw that on then take it off, then attach the bracket and screw it on as it wasn't threaded properly. Managed to put it together, it'll do the job but if you're not used to putting things together this could be a challenge.

Read the instructions carefully and it goes together easily.Very useful bench and folds down nicely.

The instructions are typical of a product that is self assembly and by that I mean that there is always something that is not properly indicated either in a photo which is not easily identified or wording which is not easily understood. However with a little experimenting it came together in about 45 minutes. The problem was that the mechanism for opening and shutting the jaws of the bench were unbelievably tight and became seized up altogether and would not operate at all. Had I been wanting this for a workbench I would have returned it immediately but it was to form a base for holding seedling pots in the garden for which it was ideal.

This was bought as a present for teenager so he could do some practical work to complement his Woodworking studies. He is delighted with it. His tutors are impressed with some of his handy work.
