(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } this is a good value for money loose leaf tea. it makes a strong and robust breakfast tea, bright with bold tannic notes. it's not astringent like teabags, but it's still very strong and goes very well with milk.i've noticed some half and quarter leaves, also known as CTCs, in the mix. some other loose teas i've bought use only the whole rolled leaves. i find this makes a brew made with these leaves ever so slightly harsher, but it's rather subtle. in fact, many people prefer that, and it's common for black teas to deliberately use CTCs. whole-rolled black teas tend to taste ever so slightly more delicate, with the flavour notes rounded off.i love the packaging, it's value for money and no-nonsense. they provide excellent information on the label, including the date packed and use by date, as well as instructions and blend descriptions! it seals well and stays airtight and doesn't let light in.loose tea tastes waaayy better than teabags, i was skeptical for a long time but it really is a dramatic difference. this brings out all the fruity and malty notes of the tea whilst retaining the bold tea and tannin base flavour. i get 2 or 3 infusions out of these leaves, with the second being slightly less bold but still very strong, and the third is very delicate and i only go for that sometimes.if you like co-op 99 tea bags, this is a very close flavour match, if you can't access co-op 99 loose tea (although i don't know how large their leaves are). i think this range of tea is good value for money, especially if you buy the 1kg bag instead of the 250g bag. no more paper or plastic waste, and it tastes much better! i highly recommend this tea if you like to drink "regular tea", aka breakfast tea, all throughout the day. it's a very easy drinking tea with a good flavour match for other popular teas.

Superb tea with a nice mix of leaf size. Much cheaper to buy direct from company. This seems to be a thing these days.

We decided to try tea leaves and we found that tea leaves gave us a better taste.We buy the Tea Master tea at first because you can buy it in large quantities and the English breakfast tea is not too strong.This is very good and I can recommend.

I don’t drink tea so I can’t give a first hand opinion, I buy it for my parents, they enjoy a good pot of tea. For what is worth, my mother is always asking me to get her some more so I guess they like it. She says she likes the fact the leaves are big and flavoursome, instead of the very small and often broken leaves she find in other brands . She can get more pots out of it.What I like is I can get them a big bag and be done with it for a few months instead of keep buying endless little ones, which is annoying. Value for money.

Having spent some time researching a replacement for the Huffkins large leaf tea, as it is quite expensive and they have reduced their online discount, I decided to try this tea. The reviews were positive and at less than half the price of the Huffkins tea offered a substantial saving.Taste is of course subjective. To me. this tea tasted better than the Huffkins; stronger and quite different, which to my taste buds was more enjoyable. I have a single person tea pot (Chatsford) and 1.5 teaspoons of this tea provides a perfect large mug of tea. This is a great large leaf tea - no dust issues - and exceedingly good value. I highly recommend this tea for those who prefer a stronger taste and colour over what might be expected from a breakfast tea.

We've been buying this for a couple of years now. It's a mix of rolled leaves and some round bits (tiny little balls of tea, not sure what the proper name is) but no dust like you find in some of the cheap stuff.Tastes great, nice and strong.

Ne ho appena ordinato un altro kg. Certamente non è un tè pregiato, ma è un buon tè da bere tutti i giorni.

Tiene el sabor intenso y amargo del té negro típico del desayuno británico (aunque la procedencia del té es de la India).Me parece que tiene muy buen precio en comparación con los supermercados que lo venden al peso.El embalaje es totalmente seguro y no pierde sabor; coincide con la foto del anuncio.En cuando a la entrega, el producto vino embalado cuidadosamente en un paquete mas grande; eso evitó que vinieran aplastadas o rotas las hojas del té.Muy contenta con la compra de este té negro, uno de los mejores que he probado.

Cet English breakfast est parfait. La feuille n'est pas trop brisée ,l'arôme est celui que ma mère recherche. Le paquet est très hermétique et se referme bien et le prix au kg est très honorable. Je recommande. Pourvu que ce produit soit suivi !!!!

Muy Buen precio- sabor suave, muy bueno

Muy buen precio. Es de la India envasado en UK.Creo que el sabor/aroma es ligeramente mas suave que otras marcas. Lo digo porque he tenido que subir un poco la cantidad por taza en relación al que compraba antes (que cuesta 3 veces mas caro), pero tampoco soy experta en te! Aunque haya subido un poco la cantidad el precio lo compensa con creces. Gran ventaja el formato a granel de 1 kg!
