My back did not come with a braided bully stick. I was particularly looking forward to trying out the braided bully for my pup, since I have a 70lb 7month old Weimaraner puppy, who chews quickly and aggressively through everything I give him. He’s loved the Nature gnaws thin bully sticks since he was little, but now he’s just chewing through them too quickly. It’s time to upgrade him to larger sticks but larger sticks means larger $$ and these bags are pretty expensive! So I was excited to try the variety pack so I could see which one is worth buying a whole pack of. I thought the braided one might last the longest, but OF COURSE that’s the only one that didn’t come in my bag. Disappointed. But I still have 3 stars because my dog still likes the other chews and Nature gnaws is a good brand. Just don’t expect to get every kind in your variety pack.

My last boxer couldn’t have chews because he’d get them *just* soft enough to try to swallow and then choke and I’d have to go in and dislodge. It’s rather exciting to learn that my new, quite reactive/anxious rescue boxer actually takes his time with chews to get the most out of them, since they aren’t cheap. I got the ones for large size dogs (he’s 70 pound / 2ish y.o. Boxer) and have cut the thinner ones shorter to fit into his West Paw Qwizl and it keeps him occupied for HOURS! (And the toy has held up great with all the chewing so far, too! The odd shaped ones can also be stuffed into a Kong.) I’d probably get the bag for small dogs next time, to fit into the toys easier. These chews + Qwizl are such a great combo! He had one stuck in it for 2 days when I finally felt bad and took it out for him. Luckily the slobber monster has learned “on the blanket” when he’s got such drool-worthy treats, too.For those concerned/surprised about the “tube shaped” tracheae... They can EASILY be broken up into smaller pieces, cut lengthwise, filled, crushed, etc….. in lieu of claiming them to be useless/a waste of money. Seems like a no-brainer to me!

An Incredible Disappointment - Terrible Value - Stay Away

For $39.99 I could have bought 3 Grade A T-bone steaks or a few strands of beef and ligaments. I do not like giving 1 star reviews but I would never recommend this products for it's terrible value. As you can see from my images, the product is not a bunch of short length chew treats which I thought they were going to be for my two pups. They are in fact very long and you only get a few of them. For $39.99 I was expecting a serious bag to last at least a month ... nope, a few strands that will last a week or 2. I strongly recommend that you place the actual product photo for the "large" pack instead of a generic one fit for all of your products and second, create some value in your offering. This is a 100% disappointment. There are dozens of other natural chews you can buy your dogs. The fact that they do not provide an actual packaging photo and then give you a few $'s worth of chews is pathetic. I could have bought a whole bunch or strip loins, dried them out and made far better and more chew treats for my pups. You will be very disappointed with this product. It is mind boggling that there are so many 5 star reviews ... must be a lot of friends and family reviewing.

My dog loves all the different treats. I docked2 stars because the last bag was infested. I emailed their customer service team and haven’t heard back.
