I spent time in various places in Yucatan and had no issues with coverage.The telephone prepay runs out very quickly, and receiving calls also uses this. However the text and data functionality continues to work after the call prepay has run out.Simple and good value - recommended.

Tech support got the card running, only wanted it for a week in Florida. It ran for 30 minutes and then would only allow emergency calls. Talked to tech support again, they said it may be the phone, tried another (working) phone swapping sim... (which used Vodafone) ... and had the same issue (no service) So gave up as the WiFi coverage was great...as it happened I did not need the phone service..... Strangely it's working in the UK ... The service was just not there in Florida, checked the coverage maps for Lyca .. should have been ok... But having tried 2 phones and 3 SIM slots I could not get it to work in the USA

I am in New York as I write this and like I say it works like a dreamFrom day one I was updated and as soon as I arrived it activated. I have travelled around the city and has not lost signal once, and I’ve even been in contact with people in the uk due to international minutes.Well recommended.

I did exactly as asked and activated the sim when I reached America. They said they would send further data so the phone could be used. I contacted Lyca when It failed to activate and they said wait 48 hours while our techical team looked at the problem. I never heard from them again. Money completely wasted and I couldn't contact my 88 year mum for 3 weeks who was desperate to hear from me in person.

We bought two of these cards for a trip to the US. If they work, they are very good value. One worked, but the other didn't. The seller was very responsive - we exchanged many emails and they advised on possible solutions, but unfortunately none of them worked.Upon return to the UK I wrote to the seller asking what they propose as a remedy. They asked for my Bolo order number, then went silent. When I checked, I discovered I had only one more day to request a refund on Bolo - I cannot help but suspect they too saw this and wanted to run down the clock. Very disappointing indeed.

Die Aktivierung klappt problemlos, wenn man sich genau an die beiliegende Anleitung hält. Im Flugzeug die Dual-SIM-Karten umgestellt und sofort nach der Landung in LA hatten wir ein Netz. Das einzige Problem (wofür LycaMobile nichts kann) ist die Netzabdeckung - bei allen Anbietern. Man fährt auf so einer Rundreise große Distanzen durchs Nichts, wo es - auch auf den Interstates - kein Netz gibt. In den Nationalparks (zB Yosemite) ist das anscheinend auch so gewollt. Meine Frau hatte einen Roaming-Vertrag für die USA für alle Netze, die Tochter eine reine Daten-eSIM von Airolo - auch sie hatten oft kein Netz. Das muss man einfach wissen, das ist so, auch auf dem Highway No. 1 von San Francisco nach LA. Sobald man in einer größeren Ortschaft ist, ist wieder alles gut. Die 7 GB-Variante reicht zum Navigieren mit Google Maps und WhatsAppen dicke aus. Wir haben so in drei Wochen nur knapp 3 GB verbraucht (wobei wir natürlich nach Möglichkeit ins WLAN gegangen sind). Telefonieren (auch nach Deutschland) ging auch problemlos. Ich habe nur einen Anrufversuch von einer mir unbekannten Nummer bekommen. Ich würde die Karte sofort wieder bestellen!

Achtung! Was bei der Beschreibung nicht steht....Es gibt eine ganze Liste mit inkompatiblen Hangys, da nützt auch " das 24 h vorher aktivieren " nicht. Die Zeit für eine andere Karte ist nicht mehr da. Ich rate vor dem Kauf ab. Die Aktivierung läuft sehr umständlich ab. Lieber ein Paar Euro mehr bezahlen.Nach 36h.... Selbst mit einem anderen Handy-keine Aktivierung, obwohl alles compatibel. Vielen Dank an Bolo für die Kulanz!

Cobertura muy mala. NO COMPRAR. En 2 semanas en USA se ha conectado no más de 2-3 horas. Y no se puede devolver aunque no se haya usado. Compré dos para dos meses
