Arrived nicely packaged, the pipe itself is a lovely piece and all the extras made the start of my new hobby, very easy.I was after a wooden bowl pipe, and this is exactly that. Pipe cleaners, stand, bag, baccy filters all make for an interesting package and very well thought out and put together.

Great idea, initial looks looked promising, issues began shortly after.It's a £20 pipe, not a £100 Peterson, as one of the other reviewers mentioned, don't expect the world from something so cheap.Instructions seemed reasonable, pipe apparently has a preformed coating inside the bowl, great, seems to be already seasoned, hang on, instructions say to only part fill for first couple of uses, but's it's got a coating???So, as per the instructions, part/shallow filled, lit up, bit difficult to get going, draw was tight with the filter, but persevered.Smoked reasonably well, then started hearing a creaking sound, noticed a crack in the bowl, not all the way through to outside, but all the way more or less, let it cool down, left it overnight.Tried another smoke a day or so later, again, not full, lit up, burnt reasonable well, plenty of smoke, steady burn, creaking sound started again, this time more like moisture boiling, noticed another crack appearing on the other side from the first.Let it cool down again, emptied the ash out of the bowl, blew it out, took a look inside and a load of fissures now present too.Issue appears to be the wood these are made from, this clearly isn't Briar, and if it is, it's soaking wet, the varnish applied to the outside seems to have trapped any moisture present, and the carbon coating applied inside the bowl has done the same.If you want a pipe to practice with, or get a feel for, go for it, but bear in mind this won't necessarily provide you with the true pipe smoking experience, if you want that, rather than novelty, go buy a Peterson, Savinelli, or other well known and trusted brand, or a cob pipe for which you can likely get three for the price of one of these.

Looks good - quality seems excellent especially considering the price. Only one beef - the instructions with the pipe cover more accessories than are with the package - this is fine as I received what I knew I was purchasing but has the effect of making one feel a little short changed for some explicable reason!!!!

Ho acquistato questa pipa per curiosità visto che ne ho molte altre anche di buon livello.Considerando il prezzoo molto basso non mi aspettavo granchè e invece sono rimasto molto sorpreso dalla qualità del set.La confezione è accurata e contiene molti accessori utili a chi vuole provare a fumare la pipa.La pipa ha una forma accattivante ed è ben curata sempre tenendo conto del prezzo, ha anche l'anellino di ottone sul bocchino. e non vedo stuccature sul legno.La pipa è molto pesante quindi indica una radica molto densa che non è un pregio.Infatti la tende a scaldare parecchio e va fumata senza grosse tirate almeno, credo, finchè non si sia formato un pò di crosta sulle pareti del camino.La pipa quindi va ben rodata caricandola poco nelle prime fumate..La radica comunque sembra ben resistente al calore.Proverò anche ad usare le retine fornite anche se non le ho mai usate su altre pipe.Insomma una pipetta adatta ad un principiante che voglia provare senza spendere troppo.

Ich habe die Joyoldelf Tabakpfeife als Geschenk für meinen Vater gekauft und war von Anfang an beeindruckt. Die Pfeife wird in einer ansprechenden Geschenkbox geliefert, die direkt einen hochwertigen Eindruck vermittelt. Mein Vater, der ein erfahrener Pfeifenraucher ist, hat sich sehr darüber gefreut und nutzt die Pfeife nun regelmäßig.Die Pfeife selbst ist aus Ebenholz gefertigt, das nicht nur schön aussieht, sondern auch sehr robust wirkt. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, und das Holz hat eine angenehm glatte Oberfläche. Der gebogene Stiel liegt gut in der Hand, was das Rauchen sehr angenehm macht. Die Pfeife hat eine klassische und elegante Form, die zeitlos und stilvoll wirkt. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass die Pfeife leicht ist und sich gut balanciert anfühlt, sodass man auch längere Zeit entspannt rauchen kann, ohne dass sie schwer in der Hand liegt.Zum Set gehören nützliche Zubehörteile, die den Einstieg erleichtern. Es gibt einen Pfeifenständer, der die Pfeife sicher hält und gut zur Geltung bringt. Zudem sind verschiedene Reinigungsutensilien dabei, wie zum Beispiel ein Pfeifenreiniger und ein Pfeifenbesteck, mit dem man die Pfeife gut sauber halten kann. Mein Vater schätzt besonders, dass alles dabei ist, was man für eine gute Pfeifenpflege benötigt.Beim Rauchen selbst überzeugt die Pfeife durch einen sanften Zug und ein angenehmes Raucherlebnis. Mein Vater meint, dass der Rauch gleichmäßig und nicht zu heiß wird, was für ihn ein wichtiges Kriterium ist. Auch die Tabakkammer hat eine gute Größe und lässt sich leicht befüllen und reinigen.Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf und mein Vater ist begeistert von seiner neuen Pfeife.
