This kit has proven itself to be incredibly useful and has made the job so much easier.The variety of adapters included ensures compatibility with different vehicle types, and the tools feel solid and well-made. The rewind mechanism works smoothly, making it much simpler to reset the caliper pistons without hassle.Since getting this set, brake pad changes have been far quicker and less stressful. I’d highly recommend this kit to anyone working on their own vehicle — it’s a reliable, well-organized set that’s saved me a lot of time and effort.

Good Quality, a great bit of kit for the DIY enthusiasts.Comes in a hard plastic casing,inside with designated sections to hold the adapters in place.Used on a VW Caddy Mk IV. Plenty of selection of adapters to fit various vehicle brake caliper rewind pistons.The Fit, Most of the discs have 2 various lugs,or plate depending on your type of manufacturers selection of caliper that fit into the face of the caliper piston. The kit doesn't come with instructions unfortunately but is quite simple to put together. To use the kit has a Lefthand and aRighthand threaded adjustable spindles. On the Caddy the rear calipers you wind them in, LHS Righthand thread and vice versa for the RHS.Regarding the front,applied the fitting plate as the caliper is a push in type. The correct adapter plate fits flush with the piston but take care when rewinding as the rubber boot can twist and if not careful can tear. (Tip! Lubricant the inner of the boot to help rotation of the piston, see video)Well recommend .

Tools and case surprisingly good quality. Currently £17, I’d have guessed 2-3 times that price.I’ve seen photos of kits with bent drive bars, if you managed that with this kit then you’d definitely be doing something seriously wrong.I didn’t really need a multi-vehicle kit but neither did I know exactly what to buy. Easily managed to free and retract very sticky callipers on a 2016 VW Caddy rear brakes.I’m very, very picky and so I’ll mention that the nearest drive plate was not perfect - 3mm wider than the calliper - this took it 95% of the way back and a smaller plate, pins a little too close together, used carefully on the now freely moving calliper completed the last 5%. If you only want to replace the pads, you don’t need that last 5% anyway.
