I fitted it myself with ease, even though I do struggle with gripping hence why I got it. Brilliant purchase. I recommend everyone should have one of these.

It does the job but I found it a bit hard to get it to grip the lid and turn the jar, I had to really push it quite hard into the teeth to get it to bite. If it broke I don't think I would bother buying another one

As I'm getting older and started suffering from Arthritis. This is fantastic at opening jars lids I struggle to grip these days. It sit under eyelevel cupboards where I stand when cooking, and is not noticable. Great kitchen tool that actually works.

Not as easy to use meant to be ideal for elderly not the case as you still have to put pressure on jar whilst opening, bit hit and miss, also can damage lid with metal blade teeth where it grips sometimes tears lid and leaves filings/swarth on lid.

I have arthritis in my hands, bought this to help open my jars. Rubbish it doesn't do it with adding extra pressure and i dont have that in my hands. It's now in the bin!

Bought this as I wanted to try it to see if it was as good as it says before giving it too my mum who has arthritis I will have to buy another for my mum as I have used it a lot it does not stick very well and did not feel safe when using my hubby screwed it underneath the cupboard and it’s great now it does leave marks on the lids but this is not too much of an issue I would recommend this product especially if you struggle to get lids off jars etc

Adhesion failed so screwed mine in to the bottom of a cupboard.Works well on some types of lids, but is totally ineffective on others.The idea/principle is a good one, however, the practice not so.There are better options out there.

Per i barattoli è insuperabile. Ho provato a usarlo anche per svitare le caffettiere, una volta svuotate (bisogna capovolgerle), però ho notato che possono restare segni sulla circonferenza, dato che la 'morsa' dentata all'interno dell'apribarattoli è molto robusta. Per i barattoli ovviamente non c'è problema.

Dopo diverse prove, ho potuto constatare che, non tutti i tappi riesco ad aprire, se sono ermeticamente chiusi.Per il resto è un oggetto abbastanza valido
Funktion eher schlecht
Beim öffnen der Gläser beschädigt man fast immer den Deckel mit den Metallzähnen so, dass man das Glas nicht wiederverwenden kann. Auch erfordert das öffnen einen sehr starken Druck weil das Glas sonst ohne den Deckel zu halten durchdreht. Die mitgelieferte Klebefolie hat bei uns nicht gehalten. Der Öffner lag am nächsten Tag auf dem Boden (nicht tragisch, wir haben ihn festgeschraubt. Trotzdem verwenden wir ihn eigentlich nicht, weil unser alter Handöffner bessere Ergebnisse erzeugt. Vermutlich würden die Gläser nicht so leicht durchdrehen, wenn man auf der Seite ohne Metallzähne ein rutschhemmendes Gummiteil einkleben würde. Dann wäre wahrscheinlich auch weniger Druck nötig und die Deckel könnten unbeschädigt bleiben.
