5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! Sweet vanilla tempered by smoky soft tobacco.
On paper, this combination sounds like it will produce a very weird smell but in my humble opinion this is, in a word, perfect!The sweet vanilla is tempered and softened by the smoky tobacco scent. The tobacco part of the equation is a smoky, woody, pipy, ‘raw’ cigar, homely fragrance, but of course closer to the smell before it is lit and being smoked. Definitely no cigarette smell! I love this combination (I also love the linen and cotton type fragrances), vaguely reminiscent of my Uncle’s pipe when I was little.First bought this in the US, happy to find it on Bolo although it is a little on the pricy side, but for me this beats any other candle from the expensive shops and would make a perfect gift for someone who’s less keen on the floral scents. Beware pale imitations, by the way, Paddywax appear to have nailed it!

I find it very difficult to find scented candles that smell natural. Most I find to be either a synthetic smell like loo cleaner or very sickly sweet. This candle cardamom and vetiver (whatever vetiver is) smells lovely with the added bonus of an attractive container that you can repurpose. Well done Paddywax, great product.

It's too wide for the single wick. I had to put foil around it to get it to full melt the top on first burn. Not the end of the world but that's where the strong scent works against you. It was too much. However it comes in a lovely pot jar and copper effect metal lid. If it wasn't for the wick versus diameter issue it would be 5 stars.

Ordered the first one - arrived chipped and broken so retuned immediately. Purchased a second one because they looked and smelled really good. Arrived chipped and broken - so wrote a negative review.Packaging on these is just awful - 2 broken items in 24hrs. Unacceptable for a smelly candle at this price point.

Such a shame as this is a lovely candle with a good scent and I had bought for a Xmas gift. The item was bubble wrapped but not strong thick wrap. The fragile stickers were attached to the product but was not mentioned on outside of package. Plus the item arrived in a paper Bolo bag for delivery . Surely a box with paper to pad the item would have been a better choice. ☹️ I knew before I unpacked that this had probably been damaged.
Amazing scent!!
I bought the 15oz tobacco and vanilla candle and it's not only beautiful but delicious. It has a warm and strong though subtle smell that spreads all over the house and makes you feel pampered. At home we all (children included) love it and since I have it I light it every night. Get one now!

This is my favorite candle and I always buy another one every time I see it on my Bolo. Burns forever and the sent is strong enough to fill an entire room with the beautiful sent. Great house smell for all rooms.
