Huge improvement compared to original oem speakers

Probably about as good as option as you'll find if you just want to swap out some OE speakers in the doors (typically rear doors, which often don't have tweaters) without replacing the stock H/U or spending much. A good, straightforward OE upgrade, in other words. They're not the most subtle speakers in the world but if you like a big, punchy sound on a budget they're a very good option at the price. Which is what I think Vibe are going for here.Update. My front components (6.5 Vibe Slick Components) failed. So I bought a pair of these to replace them (meaning I have the same speaker all around the car) and they actually sound pretty decent. Clearly there are no longer tweaters in the door pillers, but honestly these sound less fatiguing than the components did. With the components I had to roll off the treble quite a way to avoid sibilance, but I don't with these. The imaging seems fine to me even with the sound only in the doors. I changed the blown speaker first and then sat there and panned the speaker from left to right and back and honestly I think the coaxials sound better than the components with a less in-your-face top end (literally, perhaps)?
