After using and abusing this socket set every other week for 3 years I can confidenetly say it's solid. No problems whatsoever. I came back to write a review because I realised it hasn't broken yet... I break everything.I've torqued nuts down way past whatever limit the ratchet is designed to take, I've probably gone 5x over the ratchet mechanisms ability and its not even skipped a tooth. It just works. Even the handle is still holding togeather and I use that as a hammer in fits of rage!Not just the tool itself, every single socket head is perfect, no rounding, no cracking. I know for a fact I have torqued BMX hub bolts close to 100Nm give or take, way past the reccomended 50Nm (nobody tracks torque on BMX, I just know my torque limits are tighten until the bolts are about to destroy the threads) with that 17mm socket head and it's not even got signs of use, you have to look hard to spot it's even been used.Case is still alive too, and that gets thrown everywhere in fits of mechanical rage.After every single tool I've owned breaking at some point or being a pain to use I have to come back and write a review out of respect for it not driving me mental.

I bought this to replace an older, imperial socket set. I haven't used this new set yet, but I have played with it. It oozes quality, and it is considerably good value for the £22 price. My older socket set is of appalling quality compared to my new set. To begin with I was flummoxed, because I couldn’t get the sockets on to the racket tool. To achieve this one must depress the button on the opposite face of the racket. This makes installing the sockets a doddle, and secure.

A lovely set from a good company. However, the closing mechanism on the case is floppy and I dont know how long it will last. These companies focus on making a good product (which is great) but they never pay attention to the case/bag/box. It is very annoying if a product is going to last 20 years or more and the case will very soon cause you to start losing the bits.

Good quality socket set that is of high quality, it's lightweight and has everything you need for a lot of work tasks.the 75mm extension I use a lot as it gives the perfect clearance for a lot of engine bay work and when working around the brake calipers, the sockets fit perfectly and the quick release system is fantastic, the ratchet is smooth with no slop or backlash in the mechanism and the grip is very nice for leverage.5/5 stars, I wish I'd of bought this 8+ years ago.
