It's marvellous in most ways but I have two minor gripes.The door release button tends to trap crumbs and is difficult to keep clean.The 2 highest power settings are 1000W and 600W. Nearly every frozen or chilled meal you buy will specify timings for 800W, so you have to do some mental arithmetic every time.The autocook and reheat programs work very well but it could do with more of them.Haven't really tried the "chaos" defrost yet. I tested it on some beefburgers but it's obviously not meant for that. If I'd let it run to conclusion I think it would have incinerated them.I like the inverter operation which regulates the power rather than turning it on and off.Overall it's quiet and efficient, cooks well, is easy to operate, easy to clean (except door release), seems well constructed and looks good.The lack of 800W mode is a little annoying but I don't regret my purchase. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

Panasonic, not the first name you might think of when considering a kitchen appliance but I stumbled on these some time ago when, prior to purchasing a rice cooker I was accustomed to cooking rice in my microwave. Sadly the interior finish on my, then oven, was not up to the amount of condensation caused by this. I searched for a better finish and came up with Panasonic and have never looked back. This is a replacement for a similar Panasonic model I bought at least 15 years ago because the motor that turned the plate finally gave up the ghost. I realise I might have found a repairer but all things considered it had probably come to the end of its useful life and something else was ready to go next. I've had this new one about ten days. Not as big as the last but then I never used the full capacity in the old model and this one takes up less space in the kitchen. Looks good (I don't quite understand other reviewers complaints about the controls), easy to set up and operate. I've defrosted (cheese sauce) and reheated cooked food (soup and baked beans) and found it completely satisfactory (and importantly, predictable). It's also easy to clean. There are indications in the, very comprehensive, handbook that there are a number of features that I'm never going to use, still nice to have those options. I'm happy with my choice and would be willing to recommend this model to anyone searching for a basic Microwave Oven which is also robust.

Bought this model after a recommendation. Have only been using for 2 weeks so these are initial views. The inverter technology seems to be better than our previous models Neff (20 years), Sharp (7 months). Quieter. The power settings are different 1000, 600, 400 200. Just needs a bit of thinking to ascertain which setting is best. Overall good 1st impressions .

Ich hatte mich so auf das Gerät gefreut, da ich mit Panasonic immer gute Erfahrungen gemacht hatte.Nun kam die für mich von der Größe her genau passende Mikrowelle mit einem englischen Anschlusstecker an. Was sich der Hersteller bei einer Lieerung nach Deutschland dabei gedacht hatte, ist mir unverständlich.
