Bought this for a friend who was being treated for alcohol addiction through a detox programme.The tea did nothing for the shaking, sweating and emotional effects of alcohol withdrawal. Fortunately, a community psychiatric nurse was on hand with benzodiazepenes, which proved much more effective.The tea did seem to relieve the xerostomia (dry mouth), which was a side effect of benzodiazepenes, so that's something.It tasted nice, though, so I'll be generous and give it three stars.
