Common to South East Asia, they are known by many different names, including thai dragon chillies due to their resemblance to tiny claws. Our dried Bird’s Eye chillies have been ethically sourced from growers and have been selected for their abundant, piquant flavour and vibrant colour. The chillies are used across many South East Asian cuisines and are becoming increasingly popular.

As always from Ashspice these are good quality and came very quickly. Lovely snipped in curries and chillies and with olives, put in a container with some olive oil and 2/3 of these scissored in. Gives everything an extra zing.

I am very satisfied with this dried chillies; unlike the ones I'd ever tried which usually rather bland and loosing it's heat, this Malawian chillies keep the heat and most of its flavour, and, from my comparison it's among the best value for money.
