I was sceptical at first, but I bought these spices and tried it. I took chicken thigh fillets, slice them and rubbed in the Gyros mix along with some minced garlic. I let it rest in the fridge for 3-4 hours. Chopped up 2 large onions and half yellow and half red peppers along with a small punnet of mushrooms. Cooked the lot, removed any excess oil, And Bam, 1 pot full of delicious Gyros. I am now looking at stocking up, before the secret gets out.

I bought this and it tastes lovely. However shortly after I broke out in hives. I have a gluten wheat allergy, so I am now wondering if it’s been cross contaminated with gluten or nuts? How can I find this out? It doesn’t say anything on the packet about cross contamination or gluten binding agents.

Used to make chicken gyros. Mix this with about 200g of greek yoghurt and a good glug of olive oil, add to 1kg of chicken thighs and marinate for as least 4-5 hours. Grill the thighs on a charcoal bbq, chop up and wrap up in pitta with tzatziki tomatoes cucumber and fries. Its banging trust me
