Our first was while living in Europe and we only sold that one because voltage in the US is different. Our second machine lasted for 16 years. They would have serviced it but couldn't guarantee they would have the parts for the obsolete machine so we elected to buy a new one. This machine is very, very easy to program (way easier than our first 2!), looks great, grinds the beans more quietly than the last one, and makes delicious coffee! Jura machines are investments, but I do recommend them and would buy one again!
Caution: Burr grinder needs Expensive service every 6000-7000 cups.
We purchased this machine in January 2022, and have owned several Jura coffee machines. We really enjoy the robust coffee and scrupulously clean and maintain the unit daily. This machine, however, may have a design/engineering flaw which leads to grinder failure after about 6000 cups. This may seem like a lot, but we easily make this amount in a year (home residence often 20 cups/day) and specifically purchased this model Jura offers as suitable for office or other higher volume users. Our first failure occurred in October 2023 and we had to endure the process of contacting support, boxing and shipping, and waiting for the repair. The cost was $356.00. Today, December 5 2024 we appear to have an identical failure. This expensive machine becomes much more expensive at $356/year in repairs with associated loss of use of the machine. Jura....this is NOT up to your standards. Suggest caution. Consider other models/sources.

Machine was delivered with the defective display. Calling Jura for warranty, I discovered that only one place in US does warranty and it is 4k miles away. Maintenance unfriendly construction makes it difficult to open and clean.
Great Machine
Great machine with one issue. There is a water fill sensor that is not mentioned anywhere in the manual. After six months of use, it would not dispense any coffee. I called Jura and after several calls and long waits, a customer service rep finally solved the issue. You'll need to stick your hand into the drip tray area and clean the "hammer" that pacts the coffee grinds with a towel. I guess that's where the sensor was and once I cleaned that area, it dispenses coffee just like it did before.
Don't Spend so much money for that Coffee machine
I am extremely disappointed with the Jura coffee machine. For the high price, I expected top-notch performance and reliability. Unfortunately, it falls short in both areas. The coffee quality is mediocre at best, and I often encounter issues with inconsistent brewing and mechanical problems.In comparison, my DeLonghi capsule machine delivers much better results with every cup. The coffee is consistently rich and flavorful, and the machine is far more reliable. Given the significant price difference, the DeLonghi offers superior value and performance. I regret purchasing the Jura and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable and high-quality coffee machine.
