Great lightweight drill with 2 batteries.
Just got this drill and I am impressed with it. I was replacing another drill that quit working after a month.I got this drill because it had two 2Ah batteries. I know one should be enough, but I just hate the battery quitting in the middle of doing something. Plus, this drill did not have all the accessories, which I already had. I like the charger base for charging the battery. The drill has all the functions I need, two speeds, 265 in-lb max torque, a nice led light at the front of the drill, solid forward/reverse direction button and battery indicator led. Hopefully it will last longer than a couple of months.
Genuine AC Delco
This was a great value! Genuine AC Delco cordless drill, battery and charger and 2 batteries for $39.99. Works great!
Don't over expect.
I'm not sure if I'm upset about this or not yet. I will know more later on when temperatures increase and I get outside a little more. The advertised torque values that are listed for this tool are most likely over exaggerated. I love the size and color options. It comes with batteries and a charger. All of the tools seem to work well right out of the box. It's even got a light on the front that comes on and goes off with your finger pull.The ac delco g12 system is known for its durability. I've put it through the wringer and so far so good. No issues at all. I really love the speed that I have available for for assembleing new products. I put a new tool box together that has a hundred or so bolts. Some used whiz nuts and some didn't. All of them were in really difficult places to get at.Not having to twist a ratchet or a couple of wrenches was great. I have pneumatic tools of course. I had most of the job done before I could've got all the hoses out, turned on the compressor did the job and put it all back where it goes. I have very little heat in my garage making it no fun at the moment to work in there. Speed is of the essence. That's where the electric tools really shine.ACDelco is a highly respected name in the tool industry. So far I will say that I'm not having any problems with this product. I don't expect that I will either.
