Had to reinstall these 3 times because the double sided adhesion the panels come with just couldn't stay on my ceiling! I ended up buying a spray on adhesive instead and that's been a lot more effective.Pros:- Easy to set up and install- Works well to sound proof a room- Great selection of colour choicesCons:-Terrible adhesive for ceilings (walls worked fine)-Some panels are slightly larger than others (by a couple mm, not sure if this is due to the drying process or manufacturing error)I can ignore the slightly misaligned panels but if they improve the adhesive then I'll give this 5 stars!

This is a terrific product. Once we entered lockdown we needed to set up a Home Recording booth to continue Recording audio books and recording Radio Drama.I was a little concerned when the squares arrived, flat packed and completely flattened. However the instructions were clear. Open up and leave to rise - a bit like dough once the yeast is added. We gave it 48 hours to be absolutely sure and each and everyone of the squares stood proud and erect ready for adhesion. The. Spray adhesive was excellent. Completely stuck the squares to the inside of our wardrobe. Having subsequently recorded an audio book, we were informed by the production company that the quality of sound in the dead space we’d created in a wardrobe was of Studio standard.Highly recommend this for anyone setting up a home studio.

The media could not be loaded. They are vacuum sealed and very flat, and appear misshapen when you open these, however.. do not worry.. a bit tedious, but blow dry them on hot, individually, they bounce into their original shape! Bear with it, some needed more than others, front and back. (Also, used my own spray adhesive, so can't comment on tape supplied, but went up easily, look good)

I purchased these for my home studio. I ordered 24x black ones and 24x white ones. The black ones came packaged properly (4 vac sealed packs of 6x squares) therefor these expanded just fine on their own. However I wish I could say the same for the white ones. They came with all 24 rammed into 1 bag, making them deformed permanently. I contacted the seller who wasn’t very helpful either. They told me to soak them in water then dry them (which was a nightmare as I live in an apartment). After I did this the pads took a weird trapezium shape with had loads of stains. Overall not worth saving the extra £15 for the extra 8-10 hours time these require, unless you’re on a really tight budget.

Was disappointed when they arrived as many of them were flat. Took them out the packaging and was planning to send them back however, didn't get round to doing this straightaway and when I did go to a couple of days later they have all expanded to the corrct size so if you have this issue, just leave them out for a while and they will expand back out. The issue is the adhesive tape, you don't get enough of it to do all the panels and over time, panels have started falling off so I have had to go and buy better tape to hold them on.

We used two packs of these on my son's room, to reduce the sound, mainly of his voice and the absurd sound effects when on gaming chat! Absolutely brilliant result, we stuck them up with a small quantity of no more nails adhesive, the second pack was ordered when we decided that covering part of a second wall would be a good plan and they arrived within 24 hours. Another family member who does a lot of recording for youtube now also wants some. They look good too, that wasn't the top priority but it's certainly a welcome bonus.

This foam will achieve a certain amount, but only in a specific and quite small frequency range. The foam will reduce very high frequencies from reflection back into the listening environment, but not lower frequencies, it's simply not dense enough for that. The sort of foam that looks similar to this you see in professional recording studios is significantly more dense than this.So if you have a room where hard surfaces make sound over bright, and confused, this is possibly a good product for you. But if you're recording sound and you have a room that rings or makes unpleasant harmonics, you're probably looking for something denser, that will reduce reflection more significantly across a wider frequency range. It's not a good material for removing early reflections in a home studio mixing room. It's also therefore is not a great product for a vocal booth or practice room, will not reduce mechanical noise significantly, and isn't a suitable for soundproofing (and to be fair, they make no claim that it is). It's really only suitable in my opinion to tame a very bright listening environment, where it should be quite effective and create a more pleasant listening environment.

Habe hier (nur die weißen) Schaumstoff Akustikpaneele gekauft mit denen ich absolut zufrieden bin. Preislich könnte es noch was günstiger sein aber die Qualität ist wirklich Spitze! Im Vergleich zu den schwarzen die ich bei einem großen Schaumstoff Hersteller geholt habe da sie mehr Fläche abdecken sollten ist der Schnitt und die Genauigkeit insgesamt einfach deutlich besser! Hier macht ihr nichts falsch die Dinger sehen sehr schick aus und mit ihnen macht der Raum den wir ausbauen echt was her👍🏼
