(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } First of all I like the feel of the material, before I took it out for a test I did tie together the 2 grommets on either side at the rear , it was a nice fit and I am 5ft 8in , the sleeves may be a bit short but it did not hinder me as I had a light raincoat on underneath ..now it states it has a waterproof rating of 8000mm meaning 8 meters of water has to continously come down before it penetrates the fabric and there is no chance that will happen, my tarp is 3000mm and my tent is 5000mm and both have never leaked ..just have to wait and see when out on a full day hike in the rain ..if it holds up then it can be used as a shelter to in an A-frame configuration with hiking poles and stake down the ends until the weather passes..oh by the way it took only a couple of minutes to put it back in the bag, but you can always use another bag, no issues really .

For health reasons I needed to hire an electric buggy on holiday. This poncho kept me, the buggy and my backpack totally dry in the heaviest rain storms.

This is my first time trying a poncho. I do a lot of long-distance road and track walking, but at a brisk pace approaching 4 miles an hour. Usually with backpack of 5 to 7 kilos. One of the challenges is what to wear in heavy rain, especially in warmer weather. I've tried shorts, t-shirt, trainers and get soaking wet. I've tried full waterproofs (Goretex jacket, overtrousers, hiking boots) and get sweaty. Decided to try a poncho. I wanted a high-visibility poncho that's well-made and has good ventilation. I chose this 'TOMSHOO rain Poncho, Raincoat, Waterproof Camping Tent, Tarpaulin, 3-in-1...' Verdict: good quality poncho with outstanding ventilation (I mean ventilation gaps, not breathable fabric). Kept me totally dry down to the knees and kept my rucsack dry. I look like an orange hunchback when wearing my rucsack. This is a good product. Easy to put on and take off. Light but not flimsy. It sheds water so well that my feet got totally soaked, but I guess that is to be expected.

Bought this to take on holiday next month as the weather is unpredictable. It is a lovely blue colour and a nice lightweight fabric. I am 5’ 4 and it covers most of my legs. It is large but it’s not a fashion item so I don’t mind and it looks better on than I expected. Has poppers at the sleeves which is handy and the hood is a good size with a toggle to pull it tighter if needed. Good value for money as I saw a similar one in a local outdoor shop for £35! It also arrived very quickly.

Pros: I’m dry after a rainy dog walk!Plenty of space inside and good size good to fit my hair in!!Cons: I’m now hotter than the suns core. I did know it wasn’t made of breathable material but naively thought the openness would make up for that with a little breeze.It was initially ok, but after a slight increase in walking speed I’m far too hot!!Why I didn’t remember the lessons of years spent camping inside hot sweaty tents as a child I have no idea given this is essentially the same material!In summary - Does a job, not quite what I needed!

I carry this for those unexpected heavy rain downpours, which catch us out. I like that it comes in it's own carry bag, and that I can quickly put it on to protecting me.I also like that if opened out I can quickly protect my grandchildren, by using it as a shelter or use it to put down on the grass if damp.

Chaud et enveloppant. Ideal pour l'hiver
Avec ça mon mari est redevenu sexy 😅
