Have now had microwave for a week .Had concerns when reading a review that advises microwave would not turn off .We experienced this and tried the stop button ,but the fan continued to operate .This happened around two or three times.Gave us cause for concern .Were we using the cooking instructions correctly .It occurred again last night ,so decided to see if customer technical help was available as it was Saturday ,didn’t expect it .Surprised when I was put through and spoke to a gentleman on the help desk .He explained that when the programme is finished the fan continues to operate ,this is to clear any steam,condensation inside the microwave .He advised to call back if the fan continues for 10 mins or more .I timed it and it runs for around 3minutes then shuts down .The test we were asked to do after heating up a mug of water and it was on 2minutes very hot ,was to put a fresh mug of cold water back in and check it after the fan stops .It was stone cold ,so it is not the machine continuing to heat up .Another discovery allied to this concern.I expected the stop button to “stop “ the programmed timer .If you only use it for one minute or less on timer pressing the stop button the fan shuts n down as well .2 minutes or longer the fan will continue as described above .I will update if ther are any other findings .

It’s simplistic, compact and there’s no turntable to make things irritating to clean.We place a dinner plate inside to protect the floor from spills and we cover the food to catch little explosions.The touch controls are a bit too unresponsive. I think they’re on a membrane rather than touch sensitive.For the cost, the unit is great value.

This is a big flat bed microwave, not industrial size though. It's fast too. Beans in like a minute. Easy to clean. It has a slight delay on the buttons. The fan will sometimes stay on when it's hot, freaks you out when you open it and it sounds like it's still nuking! It's fine though. All in all, proper good microwave.

The flatbed feature is great, but the user interface is awful. It takes several tries to press a button, and the confirmation beep only happens after you let go of the button so you never know if a press is going to work. You also can't add time once the time has started. Returning for a refund, it is unusably bad. Russel Hobbs do a flatbed, I'll try that one instead.

PROS: This is the one box that doesn't alert the entire building when finished, just a few tiny blips when done. The fan however does keep running for a min after a long session which honestly isn't a big deal. The flatbed is also quite fascinating. CONS: The front panel really is a pain to punch, it only acknowledges *releasing* a button (if you manage to even press it) - makes no sense considering hold gestures aren't used outside programming the clock, but you get used to it. The ONLY other grudge is if you specify a time, +30s is disabled ☹️

Really good idea being a flatbed, more space, less to go wrong, no turntable motor replacement ever required, buttons are good, you have to use the pad of your finger not the tip, which is good as no fingernail damage to keypad membrane, easy to clean, very impressed. Black Friday purchase, 5 stars.
