Works a treat.Bit fiddly to assemble but not rocket science. I was surprised the top section of each corner - the grey triangles - didn't fit that well against the bottom sections. Like neither was quite square. But it seems to make no difference.Feels extremely robust and solid, even with a cheap bit of melamine coated chipboard as the base (an Ikea PAX wardrobe side!).I avoided the cheaper copies of this based on the reviews and glad I went for this.

The media could not be loaded. I have been looking to get one of these for a while but wanted one with a low floor clearance. I didn't want to increase the bed height of my bandsaw and this did the trick perfectly. It was relatively easy to put together, just bear in mind the instructions are not very good and the pictures are a bit fuzzy. The smaller nylon washers go either side of the fixed wheels and the larger ones are for the swivel wheels. Having assembled the 4 corners measure the width and length of your unit (I then added 20mm to the length and width on mine) cut your board and fit these on each corner.As you can see very easy to use, making it so much easier to tuck the machine into a corner when its not needed. I think the unit is a tad expensive for what it is but its well made, very sturdy and I'm pretty pleased. One final note, inside the box was a leaflet saying register the unit and get a free spring clamp, however this is not available in the UK, its only for the US :(

Well made and for the money no complaints. All threaded sections in the base worked fine, options of two lengths of fixing bolts a nice surprise. Only had to ream out two holes for rubber feet. I added some extra washers to fixed wheels and foot levers to reduce the play a bit and it wasn’t much of a fiddle to do this, but some may disagree. I may end up putting some extra rubber pads on the swivel wheel corners to help increase grip as expect in time the smaller rubber feet may wear on my concrete floor but all in all impressed. I’ll probably buy another .

I needed to make a very iron router table move able around my small workshop. It had splayed legs whose dimensions were larger than any of the off the shelf wheeled bases. This solution allowed me to make a wheeled base to the exact size I needed using plywood. The weight of the router table is on the wheels so not too much strain on the plywood. Bonus is that you get a storage shelf if you need it with the plywood base.

I found assembly slightly tricky, mainly due to poor photo prints!When I spent an extra minute or two on working it out logically, careful assembly and both units work fine. One with my bandsaw on it, a hefty enough, medium sized one and the other for a home made stand with my belt/disc sander mounted on it. Both units are now very easy to move around in my limited space and the size being so easy to set be just cutting ones choice o& wood to size is excellent.

Surprisingly good quality for the money, iv used them on my spindle moulder which is very heavy, and they work perfectly with an mdf base very easy and quick to move around , and locate. Perfect

A bit pricy and needs some adjustments when mounting on thick base sheets.

Provides needed flexibility in small single-car garage working area

First off, he will be required to create a base plate for this mobile tool base. Being an avid home woodworker, I had no problem in creating a base out of three-quarter inch plywood. I would imagine that if you were planning to buy this then you should have no problem in creating the necessary plywood base plate. With that said, once constructed, the mobile base is very solid. It has good clearance, easy to move with a load on it and once adjusted, it provides a very solid foundation for your tool, stand and tool. Mine was used to provide mobility for a bench grinder on a small stand. Having a one car garage and a small apartment requires flexibility and ingenuity in use of and storage of tools. The location where I store the bench grinder is not where I want to use the bench grinder so I have to have a method to move it. I had been dragging it from the storage location to where I use it, but that was not the best solution. Haven’t seen these mobile base plates, I thought that would be a very is viable solution. Now that it has been installed it’s very easy to move the grinder around the garage once the car is out. The mobile base plate is very easy to use. Simply step down on the levers for lifting the solid feet off of the floor, roll to where you need to have it, and then reset the feet back onto the floor. One feature that would make the operation immensely more simple would be to have a crossbar mechanism and a single lever to lift the feet vice using separate levers for both sides. It works, but it’s slightly clumsy, of course doing so would increase the cost so it’s a trade-off. All in all I’m very satisfied with the capabilities in the construction of the mobile tool base. If you were like me with limited space and need to move things around a lot. I highly recommend this device.

The PM 1100 is a high quality, well designed mobile base with great flexibility to fit any size tool up to the weight limit. It was relatively easy to assemble using normal shop tools and I had no issues with alignment of the holes. I used the corner assembly clamped to the bottom as a template and marked the holes with a brad point drill bit slightly smaller than the hole.Depending on how accurate you are with this process, you can either do the final drilling to exact fit the screws, or drill one size larger to accommodate any minor misalignment. The holes in the corner assembly are threaded and will benefit from having the screws run part way through to remove paint in the threads, prior to assembly. I installed this base under a Rigid TS3650 table saw that weighs 280 lbs and it works perfectly. I mounted the front assembly with casters and levers pointing sideways so there is no tripping hazard and once the floor stops were adjusted the saw is very solid. I like that the levers to raise and lower are metal and move easily with a toe push. Check the BoraTools.com website for help selecting the correct base for your application. Highly recommend and will be ordering a second base for my bandsaw.
