Easy to use, very versatile as it managed the staple 55 pages of A4 paper with ease. Good value for money.

It's a nice stable, strong stapler but I have deducted a star for the blatant "everybody is worried about viruses" germ savvy labelling. It is a stapler, it can staple quite large collections of pages, that is good. Will it protect you from Covid and other germs .........?

Rapesco staplers are synonymous with high quality, highly durable and long-lasting staplers for a wide range of light or heavy-duty stapling jobs either around the home or office. This HD-100 ECO model falls into the heavy-duty category and is a highly robust office stapler capable of stapling up to 100 sheets.Design is both stylish and practical. It is sleek with a white plastic upper encasing a strong aluminium frame with a steel base and accents in deep grey. To the underside are non-slip rubber pads ensuring it remains secure on the desk while in use. It is comfortable to use with a long 24cm arm giving good leverage for heavier stapling jobs.A starter pack of 1000 923/12mm staples are supplied which will staple 50-85 sheets of 80gsm paper but other sizes are compatible from 6mm (up to 20 sheets) through to 13mm which will staple 70-100 sheets although I have only 10mm and 12mm staples to hand for testing.It is easy to fill by raising the arm and dropping a half-strip into the staple holder and the staple positioning can be adjusted via a sliding paper guide - which is especially useful when stapling booklets to ensure all staples are neatly aligned.There is nothing to fault: this is a well made, strong and durable stapler designed for daily heavy duty use in a busy office where it will thrive and be almost indestructible. Definitely recommended in confidence for heavy-duty use.

The Rapesco Heavy Duty stapler is perfectly suited for larger (50-100pp) jobs as well as the smaller day-to-day stapling tasks.The one I was sent came with 1000 galvanised 12mm staples. I’m not sure if this is standard (it doesn’t say anywhere and they were supplied outside of the box), however they were ideal for stapling the 100 advertised maximum capacity. For smaller jobs, though, I realised that I’d need to buy extra, 6mm staples. (Or put up with a large gap—see photo).This initially seemed like a bit of a hassle, but I’ll probably use it with the smaller ones 80% of the time anyway and having to simply change to bigger ones when needed isn’t too bad. If you do lots of small, mid and big sized jobs though it may be better having a cheaper stapler for smaller ones and reserving this for the serious stuff.Size-wise it is fairly big, measuring 25cm long by 12cm high. It also feels very good quality--made from smoothly coated metal and with a heavy feel. Bigger than your average sized desk stapler, about twice as big. But it’s no bigger than it needs to be to punch staples effortlessly through 50+ sheets of standard office 80gsm paper, one handed operation sitting down.I would imagine it could manage the 100 pages , standing up though!It is really a big job stapler and requires different sized staples (obviously) the more you need to staple , there’s a staple chart on it (not your regular 26/6, smallest staple quantity requires size 24/6mm 20 sheets, 24/8mm 45 sheets, 923/10mm 65 sheets, 923/12mm 85 sheets, 923/13mm 100 sheets. As a teacher this can happily staple large exam packs for my pupils.

This is an excellent stapler. The description is accurate, a highly recommended product! I've attached a photo regarding the staples it uses which is listed on the stapler itself. It does the job, stapling both small documents and large quantities alike. A highly satisfied customer!
