So it was handy to have this food.

I was very excited to try this Orzo Bolognese Firepot meal. We got camping a lot and are always looking for new and easy food to bring with us. This is currently around £9.49 for one bag which as a one person portion is on the expensive side. We usually pay around £4 a sachet for these type of meals.To use, you simply add boiling water up to level 4 on the bag and reseal the bag and wait for 15 minutes. I was impressed at the quality of the meal. It's nice not to have something artificially flavoured, full of sugar and salt and also full of preservatives. This has natural ingredients and still remains flavoursome. The texture was good and I liked the addition of the orzo pasta.A very tasty meal and easy to prepare if you don't mind waiting 15 mins for it. Very flavoursome and a wholesome and filling meal, recommended.

I purchased this for a one night wild backpack, and although I was a bit dubious about 'add water pouches' I have to say I was astonished!.. the quality is fantastic.. I followed the instructions on the packaging.. and as promised, 15 minutes later I was enjoying a hot, delicious and flavourful meal. Yes, it's a little more expensive than others, and would work expensive on a multi day trip.. but for one or two nights?.. push the boat out and treat yourself.. after a long day in the hills you'll be glad you did.. it's a 10 out of 10 from me Firepot!.. well done!

I ordered these mid April 21, their use before date is in June, this I very bad compared to other firepot meals I have bought from other sellers on Bolo, they must have bought the end of life ones cheap.For example I bought some beef stew ones and chilli con carne and the shelf life is 3 years compared to 2 months.I would buy them from other sellers

Very good quality food/ingredients and simple to prepare. Yes, a bit pricey but overall very hard to beat the quality compared to other brand expedition foods on the market and slightly cheaper on their own website.

It's okay, ingredients are good but the price is way too high for only one pack / portion.the package looks good and the preparation instructions are clear.

The main downside for this food pack is cooking time: instruction suggests waiting for 15min (which is already a long time) and my pasta stayed crunchy even after 20min. The taste was also below average: if nothing else, this one seems to be hugely undersalted.Overall I feel it's too pricy for the level of satisfaction it brings.
